BSAMCH NEET Round 2 Cutoff 2026 for MBBS is 2150 (General Category). View round-wise cutoff.

Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Medical College and Hospital, also known as BSAMCH, established in 2016, is a government medical institution affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. BSAMCH is approved by the National Medical Commission and operates on a 29.4-acre campus alongside the 540-bedded Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital in Rohini, Sector-6. BSAMCH Medical ranking by Collegedunia.com is 34 out of 660 colleges in India in 2025.

The MBBS program is offered by BSAMCH as its flagship program, with an intake of 125 students per year. The total fee for MBBS 2025 is INR 5.55 lakhs for 5.5 years of training. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission are that candidates must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and must have a NEET-UG score. BSAMCH also runs PG DNB programs among 9 other specialisations. The total fee for DNB in 2025 shall be INR 3.75 lakhs. The eligibility criteria is a valid MBBS degree. Selection is done as per NEET-PG scores and counselling.

BSAMCH Placement 2025 report is not available, given the traditional fixation of medical colleges on clinical practice or PG studies rather than placement. However, many student reviews reflect very good clinical training provided by the affiliated hospital, and interns got stipends of about INR 23,500 per month. Usually, graduates get jobs in government hospitals, private practice, or PG studies under the 50% quota in reputed Delhi hospitals, including Safdarjung and RML.

BSAMCH Student Review

Check out what Atul mentioned about the BSAMCH MBBS course
BSAMCH Student Review Snapshot
Summary Of The Review: Atul, a med student at BSAMCH, says that the college is strict and has tough academics. However, the seniors are very cooperative, and the patients are sufficient in number for study in the hospital. The MBBS course is of the duration of 4.5 years and is followed by a 1-year internship, with an INR 30,000 stipend. Fee-wise, the college demands INR 1.2 lakh per year, with some scholarships being available from external sources. Because the campus itself is quite friendly, many clubs are operating on it as well-housekeeping is rather rudimentary, infrastructure-wise; it is small, with roofs that leak and labs that are tight on space. The mode of admission is through NEET and counselling through IPU. The faculty are very approachable, and with the ratio being 1:30, Rohini is a convenient locality with amenities that last till late.”

BSAMCH FAQs

Ques. What kind of clinical exposure do students get at BSAMCH?

Ans. . Clinical exposure at BSAMCH commences early since the college is closely integrated with Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital, which is a 500+ operational-bed hospital. Students take on OPD duties and ward rounds, and participate in diagnostic services under the supervision of senior faculty and doctors. The hospital treats a large number of patients, allowing students to gain a significant amount of hands-on experience.. BSAMCH also encourages students to participate in case presentations, clinical case discussions, and medical camps as part of community outreach.

Ques. What kind of extracurricular activities are conducted at BSAMCH?

Ans. Extra-curriculars are a way of life at BSAMCH, with ample opportunities in many varieties, including sports, cultural events and student bodies. A prime example is the college’s annual fest “Sambhav” which includes events with music, dance, debates, quizzes and competitions. The student union at BSAMCH hosts events and various activities throughout the academic year, including awareness campaigns, blood donation drives, and inter-college competition tournaments. While the student union manages the extra-curricular events, the college fosters a climate of holistic growth with physical education facilities for various types of indoor and outdoor games, music, dramatics, and community health activities. Extra-curricular activities are usually seen favourably regarding their value for personal and professional growth and development.

Ques. Where is BSAMCH located, and how can I reach it?

Ans. BSAMCH is located in Rohini Sector 6, in the Northwest District of Delhi, and is located on the same campus as Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital, which is a 540-bedded multi-speciality hospital. This location is infinitely accessible by Delhi Metro, with the nearest metro stations to BSAMCH being Rohini West and Rithala metro stations. There are also multiple buses and shared auto services that operate in the area, which ultimately is a major comfort for students commuting from as far as Noida to the Rohini campus. The school's urban location is also conducive to its amenities, as it is very close to both residential and commercial areas for students and visitors.

Ques. Does BSAMCH have a strong alumni network?

Ans. Since 2016, when BSAMCH first accepted students into its UG medical programme, the college has not yet had a long-established alumni network. But their graduates are already finding ways to secure PG positions in reputable medical colleges, finding positions in clinical practice, or enrolling in research programmes throughout India. The college is currently working on formalising an alumni association to link our current students with past graduates for mentorship, internship positions, and career advice. Our alumni have been described as well-trained students due to the exposure to a busy hospital in addition to the rigour of a formalised academic environment; therefore, they are very competitive for any future studies and medical service.
