Student view on course curriculum

MBBS is a journey of 5.5 years including 4.5 years of theoretical experience and 1 year of internship. I chose this course because it is the only way to achieve my ultimate goal of becoming doctor.it is a quite hectic course involving regular part completion tests and 2 terminal exams and 1 final professional exams per year.

Internship opportunity provided by the college and stipend

We have to do internship in the Same college from where we did our mbbs course and the government pais the stipend upto rupees 20000 per month. After internship we have to appear for NEET PG examination where we get the branches according to the ranks

Total fees of the course

College fees is 74600 per year.the campus doesn't provide any scholarships as such but we can participate in short term studentship programmes and get paid by the government if our project gets selected

Annual fest and various activity in the campus

We have an annual fest AAGHAZ in the month of February where we get a lot of opportunities to showcase our talent like sports and cultural events. We can play various sports like badminton volleyball basketball table tennis relay races football etc. cultural activities include dancing singing skits dramatics rangoli making face painting etc.
General
Campus

Hostel facilities provided by the college

We have a double seater room. But it is less spacious for 2 students to live . The quality of food is good and we get a proper menu every day but it lacks healthy diet like fruits. It costs 72000 per year and we can apply for hostel at the time of admission

Eligibility Criteria of the college

I gave NEET exam after qualifying class 10 and got 641/720 . This exam is conducted by NTA and gives reservations for OBC SC ST categories. It requires 17 years of age of the candidates before 31 December of the year in which exams has to be conducted.

Can I get the admission after getting 249 in neet 2025
S
Sweta Kumari
Aug 12, 2025 12:25

With a NEET score of 249, admission to the MBBS program at the Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS), Kasna (Greater Noida) is highly unlikely. In 2024, the closing All-India Quota (AIQ) rank for general category students was 3956 in Round 1 and 17771 in later rounds. A score of 249 corresponds to an All-India Rank well beyond 100,000, placing you far below the required cutoff bracket.
