The college organizes the annual fest aaghaaz which is good and has a lot of good activities which are all helpful in the growth of the students.
The hostel here are more well preserved than most of the colleges in uttarpradesh.
Being located in ncr is one of the best opportunities for anyone.

Dislikes

Our College is also on rent so we have to face lots of problem for any event we have to organise .
The fee of my college is some high which is necessary to overcome
Distance of hospital from my college is 2km .

A review of my college

Likes

The academics is really good, the teachers are well experienced and focus on theoretical and practical aspects of learning.
The college also focuses on cultural activities like organisation of regular fests and celebrating festivals.
The college has a special focus on extracurricular activities like sports. We have indoor stadium for sports like TT and badminton.

Dislikes

The cultural celebrations are not many, only 3-4 times a year. More focus is on academic part
The hostel food is somewhat not of good quality.
Aur conditioners are not allowed in hostel rooms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This profession requires theoretical as well as practical knowledge. This hospital associated with GIMS is Kashiram Hospital. It has a good clinical exposure and we get to see a wide variety of cases everyday in the clinical postings. The curriculum prepares us well to get along in the profession well and become good clinicians. Exams are conducted regularly with moderate difficulty level according to the university exam.

Best in academic and all education related department are best and support from faculty and proffesors are very good in respect of other colleges
Hospital patient load is quite good to learn and clinical teaching by faculty is very good
Campus is beautiful greenery and location is near Delhi just 1 hr drive away can enjoy weekend as per our choice

Dislikes

Quite less cultural activities in our college
Hostel facility is not good two bed seater in small room

As per my opinion new curriculum for MBBS from batch 2021 has been changed and it is.in good direction as new curriculum is totally based in clinical aspects So it helps us in many ways to learns clinically in every respect Exam time are also good in my view as it show us the mirror where we stand and make us prepare for professional exams

The infrastructure of college is very good
Hospital attached to my college is very good
Teaching faculty is fabulous and having very good experiences.

Dislikes

Distance of hospital from my college is 2km .
Own hostel of my college is not available, it is on rent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I thought my decision to take admission to MBBS was very good, initially, I was afraid of how I manage the syllabus but now I can complete my syllabus on time with the help of the faculty. Exams are taken regularly on alternate weeks which is very helpful.

GIMS our college

Likes

Our college infrastructure is nice, but the academic and hostel is rentel. Hospital is own by gims
The curriculum is strictely followed here, with the proper
Faculty here is very experienced and helping students properly

Dislikes

Our hostel fees is more than other gov colleges because of its location and rent bulding
Hostels and academic block is not so close we are provided with cycles
Hospital bulding is also far from hostels so we have to take auto to reach there

Our college is working properly as it is refelected jn our college results, i think teachers are very supportive and their teaching method is helping us. Our college conducts internals 2 times during the 1 year session and preproff to boost our prep. Difficulty level is of normal level.

Its location near Delhi ncr which gives accessibility
I like the infrastructure but it is owned by Gautam Buddha university
Strict examinations conducted regularly by the institute

Dislikes

I don’t like the uncooperative behaviour of faculties in assignments
Institute does not have its own campus so we don’t get freedom in our own college
It is located in rural area KASNA with no development

MBBS is a journey of 5.5 years including 4.5 years of theoretical experience and 1 year of internship. I chose this course because it is the only way to achieve my ultimate goal of becoming doctor.it is a quite hectic course involving regular part completion tests and 2 terminal exams and 1 final professional exams per year.

Gims, greater noida review

Likes

I liked its location because it is a very prime location.
The practical classes are held on schedule with adequate facilities which provides better learning.
The dedication of faculties to teach us is also good as compared to other colleges.

Dislikes

Its not an independent college because it is located in GBU
You will be given cycles which are very energy draining in first year.
You have to travel by your own vehicle from second year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam is 5 years and faculty members are good and reputative doctors from good medical colleges. A single department consists of a decent number of faculty members which make us learn the concepts easily.

Brief about GIMS

Likes

Co-curricular facilities of sports. And highly qualified faculties
Its connectivity to dehli makes it easier to explore and enjoy college life.
The hostel here are more well preserved than most of the colleges in uttarpradesh.

Dislikes

The quality of food in mess is not up to the mark.
The unavailability of any local market for any basic needs is a major problem.
The strictness of the management for small things like attendance, uniform, and other minor things can be very bothering.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The doctor profession has always inspired me. There are more faculty than required according to nta. All the faculty is highly qualified, most of them have graduated from AIIMS, AFMC, and other prestigious medical colleges. Examinations are conducted on a regular basis and checked timely. Home examinations are difficult to pass but professional exams are cleared to almost all students.

Campus, infrastructure, faculty and OPD of GIMS.
Faculty is the best as compared to other colleges in up.
Hospital has good patients flow enough for UG.

Dislikes

Mess food is unhygienic and not upto mark.
Fees is very high as compared to other government medical College.
Hostel is double for everyone which is kind of adjusting.

The course of MBBS is of 5.5 years including one year of internship (mandatory). We have a good faculty: student ratio in each department. Most of the faculty in GIMS belong to Delhi and have good teaching experience.

Gims life

Likes

Faculty is top notch and from Delhi ncr and are dedicated to our study.
Infrastructure of our hospital is great .
We have central AC in our hospital and academic block.

Dislikes

Hostel is not good , with double seater in one room
Mess food is just enough to make you feel you are eating .
We live in rented hostel from GBU which is not mentioned anywhere

Placement Experience:

Rural posting of 2 years is compulsory for everyone to attend. We are also paid during this period. So kind of good that after so much study for 4.5 years, We would get some financial support. We are planning to do PG.
