Government Institute of Medical Sciences, or GIMS, offers various kinds of courses under UG, PG, Doctorate, and Diploma programmes. The admission for the 2025-26 academic session is now open. A total of 22 courses are offered at this college. Under the UG level, the college provides admission to MBBS, Nursing, and Paramedical. At the PG level, the college provides students with M.D/MS courses. Not only this, GIMS also offers Doctorate programs like DNB and Diploma in Lab Technician, Radiology, etc. To get selected, the candidates have to secure a valid score on the respective entrance exam.

GIMS offers B.Sc (Nursing) and MBBS as its flagship programs. Apart from that, the college offers MD courses as well. For B.Sc Nursing, students have to pass the CNET examination, which is conducted by ABVMU. Students seeking admission for MBBS must qualify class 12 exam and score at least 50% in PCB subjects. The admission is based on the score obtained in NEET-UG, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). For postgraduate programs, the candidates have to sit for the NEET-PG exam. Admissions to MBBS, B.Sc Nursing, MD/ MS, and DNB are based on NEET UG, CNET, NEET PG, DNB-CET, respectively, at GIMS, Greater Noida. The candidates who pass the entrance exam will then have to appear for the respective counseling for seat allotment.

Ques. How can I apply for MBBS admission at GIMS, Greater Noida?

Ans. Candidates will have to first pass the Class 12 exam with a minimum of 50% to apply for MBBS admission. They will have to appear for the NEET-UG entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency. After clearing the NEET, the candidate has to participate in the counseling process. I had got selected for Maharani Laxmibai Medical College, Jhansi in 1st round of my NEET UG counselling but got upgraded to GIMS in the 2nd round. I chose this college as it is located near Delhi NCR and has faculties from famous Delhi colleges. My NEET rank was decent as to get a decent government medical college like GIMS. I WAS ALLOTED this college and I was happy to get it but some sad side also not getting any other of above as this college lies near new Delhi and ranking of this college in UTTARPRADESH is 4th so I choosed this and one more reason to choose this colleges is that academic part is best in this over the any of the other colleges.The WAY to get in this college crack the NEET UG exam which occur every year on first Sunday of May And eligibility is that more than 50 percent in 12th board and clear the cutoff for government college in NEET UG exam ..
