A nice yet small college in delhi

The course curriculum is decided by the NMC therefore it is same for all of the doctors. Our college has a good clinical exposure and thus we learn a lot. The course prepares you well, but you always have to learn by yourself. In the area of clinical expertise the treatment of common disease must be taught separately. We have exams Nearly every 3 months, which can be tough to manage, considering that you have to score an average of more than 50% in them . Difficulty level is intermediate

We have mandatory internship at our own college as it is mandatory by NMC, you cannot do internship outside the college because it is not allowed as per law. During internship you have to rotate between all the departments Medicine, surgery, obstetrics etc. this facilitates that we learn all of it

Our annual fees is nearly 1 lakh per year, the fees varies 10k to 20k sometimes. There is no breakup of fees as such. The fees is same for all the students of any category. The fees is same for all my batchmates. We have to give 10k to university during admission. Hostels are 12k per year. There are scholarship for minorities and reserved category students of 100% . Also for financially backward category who have ration card, and scoring more than 60% in the final exam there is 80% off.

We have annual fest - "amnesia" every year. The event is really nice and gets better every year. The event is really good with celebrity and star performance. The library has collection of medical books but nothing outside it, it is strictly only for academic purposes and book lover would definitely be disappointed because there are no non-academic books available. The classroom has projector and AC lecture hall. We have clubs for music - Advaita, which is very nice and successful. There is literary club, dance club, fashion society, drama society and all of the society that usually exist and very active

I chose this college because of its location close to my house and the reviews that I've heard. I dreamt of going to AIIMS but couldn't because I didn't have enough marks and therefore I had to take admission here. But I'm happy with my decision. The student has to take neet exam, the counselling is done by ggsipu on their portal. You can opt between three college and If you're alloted come to the college

The student faculty ratio is good, in 1st and second year, the main problem is with the clinical subject where the ratio is very disturbed. I liked many of my teacher specially ENT hod vikas sir, who always motivated us for enterpreneurship and innovation. Lot of teachers have toxicity as in any college but the overall format is nice. We have 2 terms and an sentup(preboard) like exam. These are internal exams, Nearly 30% fail the exam but most of the class passes

We have a gym at the boys hostel, library and reading room are there 24 hours open. The hostel is officially open till 11 but in reality it's open 24 hrs for boys and until 10 pm for girls. There are a lot of people, nsp is where we usually eat, there are lot of mall, rohini mall, ambience, rithala we have adventure Island, all the outlets like McD , burger king etc.
