Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum is very well structured and includes detailed study of all the aspects of medicine which is very relevant in today's world. Since mbbs curriculum is more about practical and less about theory we get a really good patient exposure which makes us ready to deal with patient problems in real life. The course curriculum can be made a little less hectic as in fourth year there are 11 subjects to cover so they can be distributed equally in all the other years and teaching methods can be made more interactive instead of professors just reading the slides monotonously

Internships Opportunities

5

The internship opportunity is provided within the hospital itself in the last year of mbbs along with provsion of stipened. The interns can also be sent on duty to other hospitals nearby which gives a wonderful opportunity to learn and grow

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees of my college is as follows Tution fees- 75000 University charges- 25000 College security fees- 10000 Student activity fees- 1000 The fees is same for all the years and for all categories

Campus Life

5

There is an annual fest held every year which include lots of fun filled activities and concerts. Apart from it there are there are many other events being organised on festivals such as diwali, holi, newyear parties and janmashtami celebration. The books are fairly accessible from library although there are old editions available The classrooms have projectors on which the class is done. There are various opportunities for participating in sports and extracurricular activities and intercollege as well as intracollege competitions are being organised frequently. There are also many societies in the college for extracurricular activities including sports, dance, dramatic, games, literature, fashion etc...

Admission

In neet counselling we fill colleges of our choices and we get college based on our rank so I filled all the colleges of Delhi in the list and I got this one according to my rank. The admission process is offline which is done in college itself. The eligibility criteria is to qualify the neet UG exam which is of 720 marks out of which you have to get 550+

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ratio is less as the faculty is less in number. But overall the faculties are very supportive and encouraging and can be approached anytime by the students for their problems. My favourite faculty is of anatomy department as I found them very organised and particular in their teaching. I did not like the biochemistry faculty of 1st year. They seem to be very disorganised and confused. There are 4 major exams which include 2 terminal exams, pre finals and finals. Apart from these there are many internal tests. The exams are of moderate level and include all relevant topics which a medical graduate must know as a basic knowledge. Most of the students pass the exams

Night Life

5

There are no as such timingsof hostel and anyone can go out to wander anytime. There is a gym in both girls and boys hostels although equipments are less. There is a cafeteria which is open from 9in morning till 9 at night. The library is open from9 in morning till 4 in evening You can find various places to hangout near college. There are malls and cafes, adventure parks and much more...

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum is mostly standard, but its relevance is super high because of the massive patient load at SJH. That clinical exposure is the key thing that prepares you for both real life and NEET PG later—that’s why I chose VMMC. Improvements? We need less lecturing and more interactive case discussions and maybe more emphasis on research. Exams are non-stop, seriously! We have internals/semester exams every 3-4 months. They are tough (50% passing), but they force you to study well for the final big Proffs. It’s tiring, but it works.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of mbbs is very comprehensive and makes you capable of handling medical emergencies, and not miss out on diagnosing critical cases. With the new CBME curriculum by nmc in place, additional focus is also given on the AETCOM (attitude, ethics and communication) module which is aimed at improving the quality of healthcare professionals produced by this country.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decided by the NMC therefore it is same for all of the doctors. Our college has a good clinical exposure and thus we learn a lot. The course prepares you well, but you always have to learn by yourself. In the area of clinical expertise the treatment of common disease must be taught separately. We have exams Nearly every 3 months, which can be tough to manage, considering that you have to score an average of more than 50% in them . Difficulty level is intermediate
