The online applications began on October 28, 2025, and the entrance test (PET) will be conducted by the University on December 22, 2025.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, has released the PhD admission schedule for the winter session of the academic year 2025-2026, and the last date to apply is December 1, 2025. The list of candidates exempted from PET will be displayed at least one week before the conduct of PET in that discipline.
PET-qualified candidates will appear in the interview. Candidates who have qualified for fellowship/ scholarship in UGC-NET (JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (JRF), GATE/ CEED and other similar level of programs are exempted from the PET entrance examination.
Admission in the PhD programs includes IT, CSE, ECE, AI, Computer Applications, IIoT, A&R, Mechanical & Automation Engineering Management, Chemical Technology, Biotechnology, Environmental sciences, Medical Sciences, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Law & Legal Studies, Mass Communication, Education, Architecture & Planning, English, Disaster Management, Pharmacy, as well as Design.

How to Apply for a PhD Program at GGSIPU?
For admission in the PhD program, the candidate must fill out the application available on the GGSIPU website by December 1, 2025, till 5:30 PM, along with the required documents mentioned in the application form.
