Course Curriculum Overview
You get exams in every 2 months approx. In first you have anatomy classes and demonstrations, physiology lectures and practicals (demo). These classes are held combined with other paramedical and nursing students.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is inside the campus only. You get posting in various rooms like MRI, CT, X ray , Fluoroscopy, Barium Fluoroscopy, Intravenous pyelogram and DSA. You get hands on experience and all the skills required for job. You can prepare for govt jobs . There's not much scope in private sector.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is very low almost negligible. It's 425 inr for the whole course. Infact you get a stipend of 500 inr per month from your first year itself and you have a compulsory internship of 1 year where the stipend is around 10K. The fees is same for all categories. There are 11 seats in total. You have to qualify the entrance exam which is AIIMS Bsc paramedical exam with a good rank. BMRIT course is available for the top rankers only. So you have to do the choice filling correctly. There are scholarships for SC and ST category students for financial aid. It's a really good course with enough time for your hobbies and you get patient handling skills from the first day as you've to do postings everyday. The scope is really good in govt sector and abroad.
Campus Life
Campus is great to roam around even better if you get the hostel. But there are just 11 students so you can't expect much of social life here. And there's not much extra curricular activities too. There's Gymkhana and sports facilities so you can do gym and play sports like badminton, volleyball, table tennis, etc
Admission
I chose this course for being AIIMS DELHI. I had given NEET and applied for MBBS and BVsc counselling. I had given this exam as a backup option and I got admission in the open round so I chose this path without knowing much about it. But it seems a good decision now.
Faculty
The faculty is approachable. There are 3-4 internals per subject and the you have final exams. In first year you have anatomy physiology biostatistics physics as main subjects. There are few other minor subjects too like computer science, hospital administration etc. Every month there's a viva too to asses your practical knowledge
Night Life
Library is 24/7 , fully aur conditioned and wifi access. Gym is there too with all the equipments required. The locality is near South extension so you can hangout there. It's in the prime location. There's no hostel timings. You can roam around in the campus without worries at any time.
