Course Description
The application form for all the courses offered by the college is available in the offline mode. To fill the form, applicants need to follow a sequence of steps which is listed as follows:
- The candidate who had qualified the Entrance Exam in the required program can apply for admission.
- Admission will be purely based on a cut off score.
- Candidates can apply for counseling.
- They have to select NIT Patna for seat allocation.
- Selected candidates have to lock the college and can visit the college for admission with the required documents.

- Placements: NIT Patna offers a good placements and internship with companies like Microsoft , amazon , TCS, and L&T. Average placement package is INR 8-12LPA.and highest package is 50LPA .

- Campus area are too short around 43 acre.

I am paying semester wise fee and due to my parents income are less than 1 lakh i have to only pay the fees of the hostel ,mess and other basic facility which is around 40k per semester. I get the tution fee waiver due to less income . But student whose income more than 1lakh and less than 5 lakh they have to pay 2/3 of the tution fee along with hostel, mess and other nasic facilities. Student more than 5 lakh they have to total fee of the colleges. Which is around 1 lakh 4 thousands.

- I liked the faculty and the teaching process.
- The campus is very big and good. Also no ragging is happening here.
Dislikes
- I don’t like the mess food. They are not that much good in taste.
- I also don’t like the old structure, buildings and small ground

The year wise fees is 200000 almost for unreserved categories And 10,000 for reserved categories. Tuition fees is 65,000 for unreserved categories and no tuition fees for reserved categories. Student from Bihar can apply for DRCC loan for their studies.

- Club activities are appreciable. They are working for each domain. This can help students to gain knowledge by working with them.
- Professors are good. So in class study will be good. They are also curious to solve doubts in class

- Not good coding environment in college and no competitive nature which may reduce development.
- Labs are not that much effective. It needs much more improvement.

Fee is the same as they take in 1st semester at the time of admission, the same for 4 years. Year wise I pay around 1 lac ( both college and hostel ). I pay fees in income between 1 to 5 lac rupees. So got fee waiver in fees.

- Friendly faculty and the labs and their maintenance is pretty good.

- The campus is not so big. We just have a couple of buildings and labs.

The tution fees is nearly 62,500 per semester.It is based on the monthly income of the parents.For the people who have annual income below 1 lakh there is no tution fees for them. For the people who have income above 5 lakhs they have to pay total tution fees.And the hostel fees has to be payed bta ll the students.The complete cost for me is nearly 1 lakh per semester.There are number of scholarships available on this degree.Like reliance,ffe and many to get.I have joined in some clubs to develop my skills.

- Curriculum: IIIT Lucknow has a great curriculumin terms of syllabus, classes, and coding culture. The competitive environment drives you to excel in every field.
- Facilities: You will get high-tech facilities in IIIT Lucknow designed for engineering and coding. Events like Hackathons and other tech fests are equivalent to IIIT Allahabad.
- Placements: My friend who completed his B.Tech from IIIT Lucknow experienced that your placement highly depends on how much you use online videos, courses to excel in your respective branch. - Poor mess food: Just like the infrastructure, the Hostel Mess Committee is too reluctant to improve food quality in spite of knowing everything. Also, you won’t get any good quality restaurants nearby or any online food ordered after 10 pm.
- Outdated curriculum: Institute is still following the old curriculum and has outdated labs. Even the Classrooms are too outdated with broken benches and no Projectors are used to teach.
- Lack of extracurricular: There is a lack of proper clubs, sports facilities, tech-fests, and coding culture.
Overall, ECE at NIT Patna is not a good option. Go for CSE IIIT Lucknow any day for a great curriculum, great facilities, great location, and great placements. Also, the CSE branch gets you more chances of better placements in most colleges in India.
