Placement support is very strong , with good companies visiting the college

the girls to boy ratio is very low around 1:8
hostel facilities and mess food could be improved
while placements are good , more opportunities in core would make it better

In my college placement and internship are good.
New bihta campus are looking beautiful. And there mess food are tasty and healthy.

Dislikes

Old nit patna campus are very small. And this area is crowded and noises.
In old campus classroom are worst. Some faculty members are very strict.
Playing ground are small. And only one ground where you can play football and cricket both same ground.

Admission:

I chooses national institute of technology patna college. Because this college is placed in bihar and i also belongs to bihar. This college near to my village comparing others colleges. This reason i choose nit patna.

Likes

Faculty is good and supportive , also lot of good phd scholar who are teaching assistant.
Boys and girls ratio is ok type. All are good and ok
Connectivity of trains are nearer and good. We can easily travel to home .

Dislikes

Ashok rajput campus is small and outside of campus roads are not good
Inside campus the sport group is very small despite having all sports
Bhita campus take too much time to construct

Admission:

I do councelling via jossa so there is float , slide , freeze option no rejection are possible. I choose nit patna as it is best college according to the rank the current political scenario. There is lot of good college rather than nit patna but I choose it as it in come in tier 2 college and far better than other low grade colleges. Admission process are very lengthy and too much documents are needed .

The helping nature of seniors and the culture of tech seniors
No ragging culture, that is zero ragging at all and seniors are very supportive
The Student activity centre and the club's of NITP

Dislikes

No fests , no freshers party at all. The 2024-29 batch have not experienced any single fest. Either technocultural or cultural. No disco night.
There is no student council, so if students have any grievances there is no one to fulfill their problems.
The labs are not having the proper arrangements and all the instruments. Example I am the student of chemical Technology but still there is no proper instruments in the lab. The Chemical Technology department is merged with chemistry that is a big.

Admission:

Actually according to my rank I was trying to get a good nit. I was not considering the branch as I wish to have a good environment of students and facilities. For admission into NIT Patna students have to appear for Jee mains examination and have to attain a decent rank that is percentile more tha 96%ile.

Student Activity center provide us the badmintions, cricket kit set, and other sports equipments.
Departments rooms are air conditions and large
Neet and clean campus and clean classes.

Dislikes

Some buildings have no ac classes due to which in summer it's very hard to even sit there
Not proper hostal managment and other hostall related things
this year there is no college annual fest occurs

More Nirf Rrank Reputated Course which i want i get only here and for me according to my rank i get the very reputated college the admission process is also so simple and they provide the proper documentation also.

Patna campus is small but in bihta a new campus is being made ,so there is no such problem regarding this....although new campus will not have all the facilities in beginning and bihta city is also kind of rural area,no fancy restaurant,no big malls.
Campus Life is so good.social interaction is also wonderful.
Infrastructure is need to be improved in patna campus...although bihta campus is new..so no more infrastructure problem will be there.

Admission:

The admission process is based on your JEE rank .which is entrance exam for getting admission in NITs..based upon your rank you get your college.i didn't choose this College,this College choosed me. Yes there are lot of colleges where i got rejected..because my rank was not that enough . Admission based on jee rank..and category of that student.

Likes

The campus is small and beautiful.Beside the campus boundary there is Bank of holy river the ganga and the sandhya aarti at Saturday's and Sunday is full of spiritual energy which keeps you motivated towards positive steps.
There is no restriction on going outside from campus for both boys and girls.
The professor's are good, helpful and supportive.

Dislikes

The metro is on going which makes traffic jam.
Road is not good due to on going metro work
Ground is not very big in NIT patna campus.

Admission:

I choose this college because I want to pursue EE and with my rank Nit patna I got. The one reason is also that college is close to my Home Town .i applied for Nit jamshedpur but there I can get mechanical only . You can take admission via jeemains .
