In a nutshell, there are multiple core companies that visit the campus during the placement drive. These include major firms like Alston transport, L&T HED, L&T Constructions, Thermal, Havells, TATA Motors and many others. Other than these few, various other students secure placement offers in companies belonging to the IT sector and the Consultancy services. Nit patna review from first year student.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Year wise fo people, including me , whos family income is less than 1 lakh general category, have to pay 83000 aprrox including hotels and all other fees . Only for 1st time admission in 1st semester we have to pay 94250. For students, family income greater than 5 lakh have to pay tution fee along with fee which I pay as less than 1 lakh general catagory, tution fee is 62000 per semester means aprrox 1.2 lakh per year . For students, family income in the range of 1 to 5 lakh have 2/3 remmision in tution fee only other fees are same . For students belonging to reserved catagory they don't have to pay tution fee others are same . Details fee structure is given in the website of nit patna

Order wise i am telling tution fees 62.5k, tution fees10k,library fees 1k ,development fees 30k lab fees 1.5k this is of one year. I got no scholarship offered but some of my friend got the scholarship like ffe and nsp.actually i am a obc stydent .

A life in a decent NIT

The fees of a semester is 62500 which means 125000 in a year, the hostel and mess charges combined are 32,000 per semester which means 64,000 in a year. But if you are a sc/st candidate or a general/obc whose income is less than 1 lakh/year, then tution fees are waived and you only have to pay the hostel and mess fees. As this is a NIT, therefore the fee structure we got in the first year will be our fees for the remaining years.... There are many scholarships too given by the state and central government, there is NSP too....

Threads of NIT Patna

The total amount that can be paid for a year is around 220000 if you didn't get any fee remission. But if your family income is less than 1 lakhs then you will get full tution fee remission, if your family income is in between 2 to 5 lakhs then you will get 2/3 rd tution fee remission. Even if you're SC or ST candidate then you get full tution fee remission for your entire course.

I paid 5100 every semester means everything is in it like library fee tuition fee etc. I am in SC category but all my friends pay these amount. State government scholarship for students are available in these college.

I have paid 270000 thousand in first year then onwards about 215000 per year. Fee is increasing each year due to the development of new campus of NIT Patna at Bihta. There is also fee weavier as decided by government in government colleges.
