How is the mining branch in IIT BHU?

Mining Engineering at IIT-BHU is quite good. The Mining Branch in IIT-BHU came into existence in 1923 as a section of the Department of Geology. Later in 1944 separate Department of Mining Engineering was formed. It is one of the oldest and biggest Mining Engineering branch of India. The course structure of mining is a combination of mechanical, electrical, electronics, earth sciences, computer science, and physics. The department has 6 well-equipped laboratories. The faculty is qualified and well-experienced in their field. A lot of companies visit the campus placement drive every year such as Coal India Limited, Tata Steel, Vedanta, Hindustan Zinc, Jindal, etc. The Placement stats show that in 2019 the Highest package for the mining branch at IIT-BHU was 31 LPA and the average package was 12 LPA. Fees and Financial Aid:

I am an EWS category so i will be paying 66666 rupees that is one -third of tution fees. Caution money is 9000 which includes Institute, library and hostel caution money. One time payment at admission is 5750 which includes admission fee, student welfare fund and placement fee. Many Scolarships are provided to the students whose family income is less than 5lpa and has maintained a good required cpi during the semester. A general candidate has to pay 2 lakhs per year as tution fees and rest the same as me

I didnot get any scholarship untill now... And my tutition fee is 212000.my friends many of them got 15000 scholar. Every semister i will be paying 106000.and my mess fee is 15000 per semister. I studied in my 10 th and inter in AP.

*The registration fees and caution fees is charged by Josaa which is subject to changes every year. It was around 30000 in 2022. Fees for general category students and students with family income >5lakhs per annum: 1.The fees is divided semester wise. Each semester Rs.106715 is charged as academic fee. So the yearly fees becomes Rs213430. broad division is as follows: Tuition fees:100000 hostel develpment fees:2250 gymkhana :500 registration:200 2. EWS category or below <5lakh income : semester fees of about 50000rs is charged. This changes depending upon family income. 3. SC/ST: There is no tution fees for SC/ST students. They pay 6715 for each semester, thus paying Rs13430 per year. Mess fees: Apart from academic fees, the mess charges are Rs1500 per semester, which can be reduced if a student does not access mess on certain days and informs prior to the mess maharaj. Some scholarships: 1.MMVY by MP government which pays entire academic fees.(based on merit and family income of 6 lakhs is limit) 2. UP scholarship 3. Bihar loan policies 4. Reliance scholarships(based on test) 5. Scholarships by alums. note: except for mmvy scholarship, all scholarships have income limit<5lakhs .

My yearly fees is ?109731 per year (Around 55000 per semester). In this the tuition fees per semester is ?33333 , registration fees is ?200 , medical fees is ?300 , hostel seat rent is ?300 , hostel development fund is ?2250 , examination fees is ?500 , Gymkhana fees is ?1000 , students amenities subscription is ?250 , festival fees is ?150 and electric and water charges is ?1200. All these charges are per semester for the OBC category. For all other categories only the tuition fees is different but rest all are same. For all Students the mess fees is ?15000 per semester.

IIT BHU Where You Learn Life with Engineering

IIT BHU offers an annual tuition fee of INR 150,000 for all students, along with other fees including examination, registration, gymkhana, festivals, medical, student subscpritions, hostel seat and fans, electrical charges, placement registraation is INR 6250 and mess fees are INR 150000 per sem. ST/SC students have INR 0 as tution fees so, there fess are INR 21250 per Sem. Non ST/SC students can clime apply for Fee remission with there low - income certificates or EWS. Scholorships like ONGD, NSP and UP scholarshios are common. I Personally claimed NSP, which provides INR 60000 annually.

IIT BHU college review

The fee is combination of number of components such as hostel fee mess fee medical insurance Gymkhana etc however fee vary depending upon the semester. The tution fee is around 1lakh for 1 semester and for SC ST PWD category it is around 8 lakh. Mess fee is 15000. Year wise fee is around 150000.

So basically if you're a student whose family income is less than 1 lacks then you will get a 100% tution fee waived. Sc/st students get full fee remission . Students having family income between 1-5 lacks get a remission of 2/3 of their academic fees

A concise view about my college

Academics is relatively chill as compared to other IITs which can be helpful for getting good grades and maintaining good cpi

There are scholarships and fee remission for two categories less than 5 lakh and less than 1 lakh. The academic fee is about 1 lakh and mess fees about 15,000 for the general category having a family income of more than 5 lakh rupees. In the starting of the first year there are many scholarships like foundation scholarship and other also which are provided by the institute.
