In terms of placement IIT bhu rank is now 2 after IIT kanpur that's one of the reason to choose it. Now I tell u about my admission process all the students alloted a date to submit documents and for hostel verification . Then on that day the allot us hostel room to stay. Then all students of different branches alloted different places to go and submit documents we go there and submit documents after a rush. Then they give us college id card with college stamp. In IIT and nits u got college on basis of rank of jee main and jee advanced examination.

Admission:

I chose IIT BHU because it offers very good placements and has high NIRF ranking. It provides higher exposure in sports as it has swimming pool, boxing arenas, lawn tennis and squash. It also provides interaction with great personalities as they invite speakers to the college. The college organises outstanding fests for the students to enjoy. I had applied for lower branches in other top IITs and i got rejected as my rank was not up to their requirement. I had confirmed admission in nit allahabad(ECE) and nit jamshedpur (CSE) but i didn't go there because i wanted an IIT seat . Students get admission by qualifying JEE ADVANCED exams . The cutoff for a general male candidate to get admission in IIT BHU is 12500 rank while each branch has different cutoff like for cse cutoff is 1200 rank

IIT BHU is known for it's religious and spiritual, Cultural environment. A number of fest take place. There are appx 10-11 DJ nights and pronight in a year. A total of 6-7 fest are done annually at large level and small fest are regular. This is the best thing of it. The mess quality is also better as compared to others. College culture at IIT BHU Varanasi

Admission:

I had applied to some other iits, as well as for computer science related fields in iiits and nits. I had also applied to some good engineering colleges in my neighbour like vjti, spit and coep. In accordance to the rank I achieved, IIT bhu was the best I could get. This college is better than some others as it has one of the best placement records among all iits. It is also one of the oldest institutes. The college culture is amazing. Admission in my college happens through jee advanced, for which one has to first clear jee mains and also clear a cutoff 75 percent in their school boards.

I got a bit lower rank in jee advance due to which i got seat in this college. Otherwise i would have gone to other prestigious IITs for this course. Admission process is based on a counselling process after a candidate will give jee advance exam and get a rank upto 17000(general quota). Below this rank, chances are less to get a seat in IITs Eligibility is at least 75% in 12th CBSE exams And a good rank in jee advance exam Admission process is easy

What is the full process of reporting at IIT BHU after the 7th round of JoSAA when a seat is allotted to me?

The 7th round will mark the freezing of your seat allotted in IIT BHU if you have been allotted one. Keep checking the IIT BHU website for official notification regarding the reporting date and time in the institute. The institute will also release a notification for hostel allocation and you have to first go to your respective hostel rooms. During the window of time provided by the institute, you have to physically register and do all the paperwork related to your admission and your specific branch in which you have been placed. At the reporting venue, you have to produce all your certificates and forms. These certificates comprise of your JEE scorecard, 10th mark sheet, 12th mark sheet, caste certificate if applicable, identification proof, photos, mess charge advance receipt, academic fee receipt. Forms include various undertakings, annexures, and income certificates. These forms and certificates must be self-attested before submitting them. Post submission, you will be provided with a college ID card, internet authentication details, and an official appreciation letter for your seat at IIT BHU.

What is IIT BHU MTech admission process?

To gain admission in the Mtech courses at IIT BHU, you will have to sit for the all-India entrance exam for masters courses, that is, Graduate Aptitude Test or simply GATE.
