Course Curriculum Overview
Biochemical Engineering is a wide branch which deals with different fields of study i.e. Genetic engineering,Drug and Medicine Engineering, Biofuel engineering, Protein and many more. The need of a Biochemical Engineering is required by all the companies either at low scale or at large scale. This course have more lab hours as compared to theory classes. Mid sem are conducted for 2hr And end sem for 3hr Marks vary from course to course
Internships Opportunities
Many big companies offer seas for internship from 3rd year including google,amazon, Microsoft and many India companies. Intership offer are also available from different universities all over the world including Australia and Japan. A number of projects are taking place under different professors.
Placement Experience
At the end of 2nd year i.e. 4th sem you ar le eligible for campus placement and can apply for internship on your own in 2nd year itself. Over 350+ companies came this year including Google, Microsoft, Meta, and many more. Highest package:- 2.2Cr Average Package:- 23LPA Out of 1500 students sat in placement,over 1200 got placed in 1st phase.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fre comprise of 1LPA It hai 67% off for income less than 5LPA And no academic fees for income less than 1LPA and SC/ST Mess charge is 15k per semester Several Other Scholarships are also available And Appx 10k as other charges such as hostel and facilities per semester.
Campus Life
Annual cultural fest Kashiyatra in March Annual techno fest Technex in February AmESummit, Spirit, Jagriti and few more. It has a big library with vast collection. Variety of sport facilities are available with 3grounds, 4basketball court, and a sport complex and Gym. More the 20 different club and social groups are present.
Hostel Facilities
In first and second year accomodation of 3 is done And from 3rd year it is done to 2. Each room hai table and chairs, 2almirah and fan and 2 tubelight. Mess menu has variety of north and south indian food.
Admission
IIT BHU is known for it's religious and spiritual, Cultural environment. A number of fest take place. There are appx 10-11 DJ nights and pronight in a year. A total of 6-7 fest are done annually at large level and small fest are regular. This is the best thing of it. The mess quality is also better as compared to others. Addmission are on the basis of JEE ADV ranks and JOSAA councelling.
Faculty
IIT BHU has a faculty staff of over 400+ Professors. You can approch any of them any time. Each semester has 2exams i.e mid sem and end sem and the marks for lab with sum up to be 100. Grading is done relatively to all the department that have that course. The level of exam is good and sheets are checked by the TAs. There are 1cls every week of each course where TAs come to resolve all the issues of students.
Night Life
The best hangout spot is Limdi Corner(LC point) In first year you have a boundary of entering the hostel by 11pm but from 2nd year you are free to enter any time. You can roam in campus any time day or night.
