I loved the environment of the my college. It connects us to the nature. So many trees. And pollution free campus.
This is a ragging free campus. Our seniors are always there to guide us. So many tests. This college provides everything we need.
Our college is known for its infrastructure. Great job offers. Perfect college for every student

Dislikes

Though it has great infrastructure, but many buildings are really old.
Our mess food taste need to be improved.

Course Curriculum Overview

Well the course I chose ,which is civil engineering is kinda tough. But with the help of professors you can add them. Every theory subject has its practical class , like labs. 2 hours of time is given in mid term and 3 hours of time is given in endterm. Well I think the provided time is quite enough for the exam toughness .

Class Size: 170Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Internships Opportunities

This college provides decent placements . Internships start from 3rd year. Though the competition is pretty high, everyone will definitely get placed. Those who are pursuing IDD can apply for stipend in their 5th year.

Fees and Financial Aid

IIT BHU, ranks 30 in NIRF. Best facilities are provided here. Since it is an IIT ,it is everyone's dream college. Iam pursuing Civil IDD here. Well I belong to obc and i pay 1,10,000 rs per year. And I feel that is affordable. But for those annual income is less than 1 lakh per annum, they have to pay 1/3rd of the fees. For SC and ST people, there is no academic fee . But they have to pay mess and hostel fee. This college has great infrastructure. Good placements. I refer this college to everyone.

Campus Life

My campus life is so fun. More interactions. Improving communication skills. Sports on every wednessday. Creative classes like music , dance , arts. So much fun. Iam currently active in arts club , as iam intrested in arts. Mentors and seniors help us alot. Many fests are conducted with great enthusiasm

Hostel Facilities

Our hostel is known for its cleanliness and hygiene. Menu quality is great but the taste is kinda bland. We pay 30,000 rs per year. It is affordable. Hostel will be alloted by the college itself . And we are not allowed to rent a room or PG.

Admission

Well since it is an IIT. Everyone has or had a dream to study in this college. Same as mine. Well I didn't regect any other colleges. Because this college is my one and only option. This college reaches my every expectation .

Faculty

Our faculty are the best. They have a lot of experience in teaching. Well the exams are kind of tough. But a thorough practice can help. For one semister, one mid term and one end term are conducted. And there are two semesters in an academic year

Night Life

We do have a gym, big library and so much to explore. Well hostel timings are from 5am to 10pm. College timings are from 8 am to 5 pm. And dayoff on Saturday and Sunday. LC and HG gate are the most famous hangout places. It is safe to roam around in the college at night , because we are always guarded by proctors.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

HBTU review from a Ist year student.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.

The IIT BHU STORY

I choose iit bhu because of iit tag string mining dept and most imp the campus life which felt better than other options i have . I have options of few iits like iit dhanbad and all but iit bhu stood out the most from all other iits in terms of everyaspect as it has strong placements records and aluminia base with lots of supported startups.
