Likes

most faculty member are knowledgeable and supportive.
The college campus has good infrastructure including well -equipped computer labs, library ,wi-fi facility ,seminar halls and sports.
The college organizes technical events ,workshops , seminars, and cultural programs which help student develop skills beyond academics.

Dislikes

while placements are available , the number of high-package companies visiting the campus could be improved.
the college has strict attendance rules and discipline policies.

Course Curriculum Overview

One of the main reasons I chose this course was the strong technical foundation offered in computer science sunject.The curriculum includes important subjects such as programming, object-oriented programming with java,data structures.

my overall experience with campus life at IMS ENGINEERING COLLEGE, Ghaziabad has been quite positive.The college provide a balanced environment where students can focus on academics while also participating in extracurricular activities, social events, and technical clubs.

Admission

1. Location and Accessibility The college is located in Ghaziabad and is well connected to nearby citie such as Delhi and Noida , making it easier for student to commute. 2. Overall Reputation Among many AKTU-affiliated colleges, IMS Engineering college is considered a decent option for engineering studies.

Faculty

The faculty at IMS ENGINEERING COLLEGE are generally qualified and supportive . Most professors hold M.TECH or PH.D degrees and have good subject knoeledge. The faculty-to-student ratio is approximately 1:15 to 1:20.

Night Life

The area around the college is generally safe, aspecially in the early evening hours. since the college is located near developed areas of Ghaziabad and Indirapuram, there are shop, markets,and regular traffic nearby.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course feels a bit dated in 2026, and the University needs to update it in 2026 with the new AI modern tools coming. Apart from the course, I was also involved in social media activities in different internships and i learned a lot over there.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good here . Generally most of the comapnies that come here are for SDE roles but also many for consulting and DS roles . Students generally dont prefer the core roles so there are less companies visit for core jobs . Talking abt my course the highest package was 51 lakh by microsoft and the average was around 18 lakh . For the aollege highest package was around 1.6 cr. Around 1000 offers have been given for 252 profiles . In this 280 offers were PPO for final year student. Average CTC for whole college was 29.23 LPA. Around 80 percent of students get placed . Some people go for higher studies , some go for civil services .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exams is fine but timings and schedules are but hectic with no leaves and continuous exams even two exams in a day sometimes . Well some of the courses are relevant and prepare students for the real world circumstances

On the campus placement is good like if you have capability you can make throw it and they provide almost 3 to 4 lakh average salary and Anam I will say and highest package I have seen was 23 lakhs and 49 lakhs from a college and companies like Wipro TCS Amazon and HDFC and many other companies have came this year for placement and like we have a good placement cell and PDP and training classes

More Information About AKGEC College

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is good as in core branches, most of the students get placements on-campus, infact these years good freshie paying scale company for core companies did visit the company and most of the IT sector companies also offer good packages. The average package is 5.5 lakhs. For ECE, Vivo, Kuka robotics, Ericsson and blauplug visited the college. I'm not really much aware about other branch's companies

Placement Experience:

1) students become eligible for placements from 7th semester onwards. 2) many companies visit our college like asbl,shl,deloitte,infosys,hcl tech , To the new and many startup based companies 3) highest package on campus was around 14 lpa and average package was around 4-4.5 LPA. 4) around 600-700 students got placed out of 1100 students. 5) my plan is to do masters.

CONSIDERING IMSEC COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING?

I was after the aiml branch so this college offered me this branch so i got it into it, I did'nt really applied to any other college but yeah i really did wanted to got in AKGEC which is a bit ahead of this college in various terms, but getting admission in AKGEC is a little bit hard and getting this AIML branch which are really preffered by the peoples nowadays, admission process is really simple you can directly visit the college for the admission or can register yourself at the councelling for taking admission in this college which is again easy comparitively so the taking in part is really easy....Read More
