Course Curriculum Overview

2

As mentioned Earlier, the academic focus leaned more towards theory than practical application. HOWEVER in real world, practical experience is crucial. The imbalance is significant area for improvment and major drawback of this college

Placement Experience

2

>Student are eligible for placement in last semester only i.e 8th semester >Companies like TCS, Ericssion and NTT Data used to visit, > Ericssion offered 2.5 lakh ctc, Tcs 3 LPA > highest 6 lakh, average was 2.5 lakh > 25% student were placed at that time

Fees and Financial Aid

As my admission year was 2013, at that time annual fee was approximately 2 lakh, For 4 year it cost me around 10 lakh. However, students admitted through the management quota had to pay 2 lakh Extra as admission fees, Bringing their total cost to around 12 lakh, for 4 years. At that time, government scholarship was available for students based on their father's income. Annually 60 to 80 % of the college fee was reimbursed directly to the student's account from government end.

Campus Life

3

>In 4 Years, only twice Annual fest was done, they were held in october month >Books related to courses were available in library > As i mentioned earler, classRooms were like school one, no facility just black board, benches and Fan > sport program was held twice in 4 year. > there were no social group, clubs

Hostel Facilities

4

>all types of room were available means double, tripple with ac and non ac., single seater rooms were also available > All room has bed, fan, Almirah and study table > Meal was good, every snacks was available >Hostel Accomadation was optional, its registration was done from college admission board end. >Area like shastri nagar had lot of PGS

Admission

>I got admission from uptu exams, I applied for colleges as well such as AJAY KUMAR GARG, ABES COLLEGE, RAJKUMAR GARG etc. but based on rank, i got this college only >I was rejected from these colleges beacuse of rank >IMSEC takes admission through UPTU Exams and From Managment QUOTA as well

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ration was 1:55. The Faculty student relation was good .The teachers were punctual and held doubt session after class, which was really helpful. . I particularly enjoyed Balwant sir's teaching style, which made complex topic easier to grasp The college prepared us well for university papers, conducting multiple tests to simulate the actual exam expierience. there were two semester in academic year The difficulty level was average and around 5-6 student struggled to clear the university exams each semester

Night Life

3

>Gym was there for hostellers, Cafeteria and library used to open from 10 am-10 pm. > Campus timing was 8 am to 8 pm and hostel was 7 am to 7 pm > Hostel was inside college campus only so it was safe to roam around college but outside college it was not at all safe >college is in DASNA area, its not at all safe to roam around

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it average . It is comprehensive but not so useful as in todays world we require more skills than the formulas. It is related to communication and i am very interested in that . It is not very good for real world application but wr do learn about the basics and get hold of how everything work but does not cover advanced technology. Syllabus should be revised and should be more based on skills than theory and rattafication There are 3 to 4 exam per semester which can be very hectic that it feels like we are giving exams every few weeks. Difficulty is not that much but syallabus is really hard to cover amd we can not focus more on skills and projects more of the time we are giving exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

course curriculum is little bit out-dated, and improvements are needed in terms of syllabus. timing of exams are ok ok. so many assignments are given which is really hectic because their are deadlines to upload those assignments in google classroom. and one thing i hate about college is 75% attendence is must. due to this we do not get much time for our personal development.
