National Institute of Technology, Patna----> an optimistic student's pov

Digital electronics was a subject i studided in 3rd semester, i really liked it and it drove my attention towards ece It preprares us really well, workshops on 3d printing and fgpa and several other hackathons are also conducted I feel in the cs common curriculum for ece students, it should be brushed more for relevant programming languages The exams are timed well according to the calendar and they are executed as planned

Amazon, Accenture, Airtel, Samsung, L&T and many ither good companies come here to hire students for internships Many students also go for pursuing research internships to many iits and also under many reknowned professor to which they get certificates and Letter of Recommendations for

The campus placements are moderately good in severe times of recession like this, though branches like civil , EE, Mechanical get placed very good but cse is facing some recession, still they are placed above average compared to other colleges The students become eligible for internships from their 5th semester i.e their 3rd year and for campus placements from 3rd and 4th year in 2024 one of the final year students from cse grabbed 2cr at google and the median and average placement package is decent here 90-95% students get placed in decent companies My plans are to explore software development with interets in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence

I will be paying 1,03,750 each semester which includes hostel, mess, and all the other facilities possible..its around 20,000 for the mess fee and 61,000 soemthing for the tuition and all and remaining left is for the hostel

Tarana, Tarang, Utkrisht, Corona many other fests take place and also some events from time to time too Books available in the department libraries cover most of the topics but i feel there should be more The sports and extracurriculars are somwehere this college lacks but there is significant chance of improvement

Two beds, two study tables, moderate to small sized room , two almirhas The food here is something that i like and we get non veg 4 times a week , two days chicken curry and two days egg curry, more on this some special lunches are also planned on some fastive days like diwali, hopli, republic day

I chose this college obviosly because it is an esteemed "National Institute of Technology" and not just another random college I did not face any rejection (apart from josaa) from any college The admission process is really simple, you just have to be shortlisted either in csab or josaa counselling and come here with all the valid documents and pay the fee here

Decent facluty to student ratio is maintained here Manpuran Mahto sir, Bam Bam sir, Shahnawaz sir, Subodh Srivastava sir are the teachers who are really helpful and understand students There are specific no "such teachers that i do not like" every teacher is good and maintains his/her dignity There are two sets of exams mid sems and end sems ...they are difficult if you do not focus on the class notes and easy if you focus on them The course curriculum is moderately relevant, i feel it can be brushed more

Gym is something that is moderately decent here and closes after 8:30 so does the badminton court, the tt room and all other activities, the girls hostel curfew time is 10:00 pm whereas there is no curfew for boys hostel so the night life here is pretty bad There are no such hangout places in the campus
