About Motihari College of Engineering located in Motihari ( Land of Satyagraha )

I has chossen B. tech in Civi Engineering due to I want to do feild work. Civil Engineering branch is one of the oldest branch and base of all branch. The curiculam prepares me for real-world application or further academic pursuits by dealing hard numericals problem , Civil Engineering branch involves strong team work because any mistake in civil engineering team work result loss of life, money and time. The course is improved by providing strong computer application to civil engineering students and involving AI to this branch. In engineering you can face exam any time so you always ready for any examination and apply the daily study routine to life.

The total amount of fees a person have to manage to complete B.tech from Motihari College of Engineering is approx 3,50,000 Rs. Admission fees - 10 Rs Development fees - 2500 Rs per year Tuition fees - 120 Rs per year I card fees - 100 Rs Library Membership Card - 150 Rs Insurance fees - 700 Rs Hostel fees - 30200 Rs per six month ( In which 21000 Rs is Mess charge, 7200 Rs is for Room charge, 1500 Rs Security deposit and 500 Rs Hostel admission ) For SC/ST students, There is no Tuition fees. There are different scholarships like NSP, PMS and private scholarships are available for students. You can also apply for loan provided by the Bihar government through student credit card.

1.) The annual sports programe conducted by the college and DSTTE ( Department of Science Technology and Technical Education ) are Umang and Prakram in which different games are held, student get participated and won prize. Induction program is also conducted by the college for freshers to give information about college life . It is held for 21 days. 2.) There are more then 30,000 books in the library . The book are of different types and written by different authors . Roughly 100 student sitting capacity is available in central library at MCE Motihari . 3.) The classroom is of different size for different branch. All the classroom has Digital Board and White Board both . The all classrooms has podium by which student get easy contact with faculty and board . 4.) The main program conducted by college for sports is Umang and Prakram . You can join yo Pahal program coducted by the government through all college in which engineering student provide education to children near the college area. 5.) There are different clubs in college like Zero One Coding club ( under department of cse and cse(ai) ) , Aviskar : The Robotics and Innovation Club ) etc.. provide extra knowladge for the students .

I applied for eight different college through UGEAC application stands for Bihar Undergraduate Engineering Admssion Counselling I selected first for Katihar Engineering College which is established in 2016 ( then after upgrading my application form I selected Motihari College of Engineering ) . KEC is much new as compare to MCE Motihari which is established in 1980 . Due to old college it has strong alumini base and name. To enter in college, there are different ways just like jee mains examination, BCECE ( Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination ) and mop round counsiling. In my college there are six different course avaliable and the cutoffs for different courses are differ . You may get admission in cse or cse (ai) when you score 75 above percentile. The total number of student in first year who enters in 2025 are 360 . The number of total faculty in campus are 48. You can see that there is one faculty on seven to eight student which is a good ratio. The faculty such as Anil sir teaching us engineerig mechanics also the head of examination department, I like him much because his dedication to work, despite being involved in work he came our class and complete their syllabus timely. Another faculty like Dr Samir Hasan sir teaching us communicative english , Ram Singh Yadav sir teaching engineering mathmatics. I like them also . Some faculty who not complete their syllabus timely and not came to their class according to routine. I not want to take their name hear but I not like them really. We know that B.tech is four year program which include eight end semester examination which conducted by the Bihar Engineering University and eight mid semester examination held before the every end semester examination conducted by college . The end semester examination ( consist of 70 marks paper ) is comparatively harder then mid semester examination ( consist of 20 marks paper ) The end semester examination centre outside the campus means in other college . 70 + 20 = 90 ( 90 marks you obtain through written examination ). The rest 10 marks you obtain through attendense and submiting practical copies .

1.) Gym is available in hostel but not in campus , There is one cafeterias in my campus , The timing of library is 10 am to 7 pm in night . The public area in campus are cantein , playground and badmintion court which is generally open all of time except night . 2.) There are three boys hostel and two girls hostel . The timing is differ for both girls and boys in night girls restricted to go outside the campus . 3.) The famous hangout place inside the is cantein and outside the campus is Tea poin located at high way 2 km far from the college where student go to evening walk and drink tea . The localty is not safe in night due the road which conect the highway to college is much lonely in night , The attack of wild animal and thief increase .
