Gaya College Of Engineering was established in 1981 under the Government of Bihar. GCE, Gaya offers undergraduate courses i.e., B.Tech and postgraduate courses across 4 engineering and 1 science and humanities department. Under the UG program, it offers B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering. Gaya College Of Engineering Placements
The placement cell of Gaya college was set up during session 2017-18 and is actively calling top recruiters to the college for pre-final year students. For third-year students, training/ internships in various reputed industries and institutions are offered.
The major neighboring industries in which students visited recently are DVC, NTPC, POWER GRID, BSNL, PRISM cement, etc. The internship stipend is about INR. 5000-15000.

Following are the facilities available at the college at student’s disposal-
- Hostel: Separate hostels are available for boys and girls with single-seater rooms and a 24x7 WiFi connection. The hostel mess serves 3 meals a day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). For each hostel, there is a separate warden, so that discipline is maintained.
- Laboratories: EEE Lab, Civil Lab, Mechanical Lab, Computer Labs in Gaya college are highly spacious and are equipped with all the necessary instruments.
- Library: Fully air-conditioned library with a capacity of about 75 having all the reading resources and reference books for student’s requirements are available.
- Sports Facilities: There are many indoor and outdoor games available like Volleyball, Cricket, Basketball, Badminton, Table Tennis, etc.

- In this college attendence process is good. 75 percentage attendance is compulsory for giving exam.
- Teaching style of professors is awesome.

- Facilities of road is not good.,in rainy season very difficult for going academic building.
- Extra activities are not so good like that fest tech fest etc.
Admission:
I applied many college like Mit Muzaffarpur,Bce Bhagalpur,Bce Bakhtiyarpur,Gce Gaya ,Nce Chandi etc. I got admission in GCE ,GAYA according my percentile and rank.In top 5 Bihar Government Engineering College GCE GAYA is one of them.
Likes
- Our college has one of the biggest campus among all the government engineering colleges in bihar. Overall infrastructure of this college is very good . There are 5 hostels in which two hostel are for girls and three hostel for boys
- Many sport activities and educational quizzes are held.
Dislikes
- Locality of our college is not good it is located in a jungle like place.Not safe for travelling in any case after 10 pm or 6pm for girls
- Placements are average. Many students got 20 lakhs plus package in off campus placement.
Admission:
It is the one of the best government engineering colleges of bihar which has EEE(Electrical and Electronics Engineering). Campus is very big. I have also applied for banaras hindu university and I also get selected there but I got b.sc in banaras hindu university so I prefer BTech above bsc. For taking admission in this college, student should be appear in JEE mains or bcece and score good marks. Jee mains score and bcece score is valid for admission.

Admission:
After not getting into nit or iit, I applied for beu. The top 3 colleges include Mit Muzaffarpur, bhagalpur college of engineering and gce gaya, I was expecting to get admission in either of these 3 colleges. I got gce in my first counselling. So there was no problem for me taking admission. Once you get the college, document verification is done by the college before giving admission. Most preferred course are cse and civil with cutoffs anove 80 Cse - 87 percentile and above Civil - 80 percentile and above Mechanical- 60 percentile and above Eee - 50 percentile and above

- It is my first college and I am very here because my college lookingis like awesome it's infrastructure is really good and here faculty are really awesome because he teach us very good and all the facilities are available in college you need library
- This college provide hostel per year children

- The thing I dislike first event is not organised
- The food of our hostel is not good it's not more tasty

I apply on two other colleges and then apply on this college and I will not apply on another college because it is good college from other colleges it's placement is good and almost students have campus placement

Admission:
You can come here by qualifying jee mains or BCECE. You have to present physically for admission process in the college. If you are from Bihar then you also enjoy reservation. I find the application form from BCECE portal

for eligibility of the course you have to score more that 75%ile in jee mains and there is another exam to take admission which is bcece you have fill the form of ugeac which is available online for almost 1 month you will get reservation benifits if your are sc/st or obc otherwise you can also take seats through general category you can fill this form once a year i didn't like that there are two different exmas to take admissions because one is relatively always easy and one is hard which is not fair

- Semester exams are not on time it takes 2-3 month extra

Admission process includes first of all you have to register for ugeac counselling and there you get a rank card according to which you can do counselling in colleges and get a seat in it reservation benefit is also there

- There is a very big issue of mobile networks.
Admission:
Firstly, you have to pass your 12th board with good marks with PCM. Then you have to give JEE Mains exam and after result you will get a rank . After that, on the basis of your JEE Mains result, you can go to counselling through BCECE UGEAC and after all process you will get best college at your rank.

Admission:
First of all you have to pass 12th board with good percentage with PCM . Then you have to give JEE MAINS exam after the final result of jee mains , you have to go for counseling through BCECE UGEAC for admission in any colleges of Bihar Engineering. Then after all process you get admission in any college of Bihar , it may be this college. There are reservation benifits also , you can see this in cutoff. As I came under BC category and my jee mains percentile was 88 so after counseling I get this college.
