Govt. recognised college nothing bad college campus is very vast, fees is low, scholarship schemes for needy. Spot support by dean. helpful lecturers and hods best college.

MHCET, i opted for this college as it is one of the ranked college in india.in maharashtra it is most prefered college after kem in india it is ranked 6. but you have to be n merit to get admission in this college. no admission through donation. total 200 in take for mbbs per year.

Course Curriculum Overview

MBBS is 4.5 years course plus 1 year compulsory internship. total 19 subjects are learned during these years.1st year biochemistry, physiology, anatomy,2nd year microbiology, pathology and pharmacology. fmt3rd year opthal, ent, psmfinal year medicine surgery obgy and paeds. 1st year - 1 year, 2nd year - 1.5 years, 3rd year - 1 year, final year -1year.

Internships Opportunities

Yes internship is compulsory after mbbs and is provided by college itself. grantmedical college has connected to 4 major hospitals in mumbai jj, cama, gt, and st.george. best training is provided during this period,. stipend paid is by govt. its is presently 6000 rs per month during internship period that is one year.

Since it is mbbs course that too from top ranked college in india. job is not an issue. every passed out student can get job easily in public and private sector.starting salary in public sector for moship is rs 60000 sixty thousand per month. In private sector its is different for different hospitals. College is also recognised in many other countries which can fetch good handsome salary.

Colleges holds 2 festivals other than public festivals. antarang is one of them. most of the students participate in dance, drama, its full of entertainment, other is kurukshetra which is sports festival, in which many students participate, prizes consists of trophy, medals, certificates cash. totaaly encourages students.

Very cheap as compared to private colleges, fees per year is 50000 rs per year, category students have lesser fees. if you repeat exams, repeat fees is only 3000 rs per subjest for open category. anyone can afford it. if u cannot pay fees banks are there which provide loan easily considering top ranked medical college.

On campus life is great, equal gender ratio, conducts intercollege competitions, quizes, encourages students to grow entirely, has its own gymkhana in marinelines for sports practise and tournaments.labs are equipped with every chemical required for tests, lab aasistants are very helpful, entire tests is available in campus itself.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is ok accomodates most of students, infact every student coming from different cities to mumbai.has 3 hostels within the campus rmbhatt, apna and ladies hostel. filter drinking water clean sanitation, mess food is best at cheap price merely 25 rs for a veg thali hygienic tiffin service is also available at 45rs per tiffin.

Very helpful alumni any time help needed they are ready. seniors are god as passing is considered. they r very helpful in every difficulty.

Exam Structure

MBBS consist of 1 2 3 minor and 3 major, each year has terminals prelims and final university exams. Each exam consist of theory and practicals, exams are conducted strictly and marks are given based on preparation made.labs are equipped with every instruments.

College don't offer any placement. 5.5 yrs mbbs includes 1 yr internship in which interns are paid 18k for month. While after mbbs you have to do service bond in rural areas in which dr.are paid 80k month.
