The college provides us with allowance of Rs 1250 every month for expenses and book allowances and uniform allowances at the start of each year. There are no scholarships available

Campus Life

4

Our college hosts two famous festivals annualy named Silhouettes around May and Illuminati after two or three months. There is a large libray and a wide range of bookns available for all subjects for both UG and PG. Each class room is equiped with a smart board for teaching and speakers so everyone can hear the faculties and good bench arrangement. There are many sports ckubs here in college like Gym, football, swimming pool, volleyball, basketball, hockey, cricket and other clubs like dramatics, musimatics, dance , quiz, demate etc. there are no student run clubs of portals

Each room has a mirror with inbuilt shelves , a shoe rack , a chair , a cot with mattress, pilllow , cover , blanket and bed sheets, curtains for windows , a cupboard for clothes , a desk for studying , two to 3 charging ports, a fan and two lights. Meal here is great with high emphasis on quality of food and nutrition and both veg and bon veg options available everday seperately. Everyone are aeligibke for hostels as this only residential no day scholar .

Admission

I applied for AIIMS Delhi , JIPMER and Madras medical College and i couldn't get in AIIMS and JIPMER because of inadequate marks but i chose AFMC over MMC because there are good facilities, varoius co curricular activities and job security here in AFMC. To get into AFMC you should pass in NEET UG and apply willing for Afmc in all india counselling. Shortlisted candidates will be called for screening. There will be a written exam called TOelr , an interview and a medical checkup. Out of this only 150 are chosen.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is good. Each batch is divided in to four batches and each of these four batches are divided into 4 units . Each unit is taught by sepearte faculties in clinics. Faculties are very easily approachable and heplful at all times. Exams system are same as per nmc guidelines and muhs university. The exam difficulty is from medium to hard. A very low number of 2 to 3 fail per year out of 150 students

Interview Experience

5

There was an interview and a written test of wnglish and logical reasoning. There is also a medical checkup for admission. I didn't prepare mu h for these exams . The main scoring part is the NEET marks

Night Life

5

The night life is great in the college but the students cannot leave college campus after 10 pm but the environment is very good in the college. People can use library and our canteen INSTI which is open till 2am and there is study area above it so oeople can study.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is highly planned and very vast. Regular revision is necessary to caver all subjects. All subjects are taught with high practical basis hence ensuring exposure and preparing for real life exposure. Teaching could be more consise and logic based. Main exams are every 2 to 3 months with difficulty slightly higher in term 2 than term 1.
