Remarks

College is mnaged very well according to army rules and regulations and the training officer makes things happen accordingly.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

It is the best medical college in country. Every professor here is very much experienced and qualified. We get ample opportunities to evolve ourselves not only for curricular activities and research also extra curricular activities are equally important for AFMCites. Being a defence Forces institutions it has its distinct glory in itself.

Placement Experience

5

Everyone gets an opportunity to serve in the Indian Armed forces as an officer. You get to serve as a Lt. Of army or surg. Sub lt of navy or flying officer of Indian air force during the internship and after that you get promoted according to army rules and regulations pertaining to AMC.

College Events

5

College day August 4 called as AFMC day celebrated a cross the world by AFMCites. College week or interbatch competitions in January. Silhouettes and All India inter medical basketball tournament in February. And every Indian festival is celebrated here very well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's very feasible. In the first year at the time if admission you have to pay around 90000. Rest you don't have to pay anything apart from university fees and mess charges which is around 1500 a month. Also you get uniform and all. You are provided with free accommodation and get allowances of about 15000 per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Because this college is under defence ministry everything is taken care of by the government of India. No loan or scholarship is required but yes we do have many scholarship opportunities for research purposes

Campus Life

5

Campus life is very happening here. Though the gender ratio is a bit low but that being due to circumstantial requirement of the armed forces we can't do much about it. Every batch have about 115 boys and 30 girls each indian and 5 foreigners. There is no discrimination against anyone on any ground. Students from all over the country are there in every batch and we all thrive as brothers.

Hostel Facilities

5

It is compulsory to stay in hostel. Hostel us divided into OBH & NBH And girls stay in separate girls hostel. For initial 1 year you have to share room and after that you get assigned a single seater room. Hostel is very much comfortable here Every facility is available.

Alumni/Alumna

Every AFMCite treats a fellow AFMCite as a brother wherever he/she gets to interact. In the fkrces or outside we have a strong bonding between us. We all are having this special feeling of belonging. That's the best about AFMC.

Admission

First the aspirant have to appear for NEET conducted by NTA in the month of June. After neet scores are announced through MCC website the person is required to apply for AFMC. A merit list out of all applicants is prepared and people are called for screening test, Called as TOeLR, Psychological assessment and thdn interview followed by medical checkup. After all of the candidates get screened a final merit list is drawn and in the first week of July the people on the merit list are called for admission.

Faculty

5

Every faculty here is extremely well experienced and qualified. Almost everyone is AFMCites here so they understand the students very well and otherwise also due to Afmcite spirit they go out of the way to help the students. They are always disciplined and teach us to be. They never miss any class or come late. As part of Armed Forces ethics also they are extremely punctual.
