Course Curriculum Overview

5

Our college is most academically centric college in the state and probably in country also. But extracurricular activites are also given importance. Academics are so practically oriented, also students are so competitive (in a healthy way).

Internships Opportunities

5

The college has affiliated hospital which has a yearful of internship. Research opportunities are emmence in the college. The postgraduate students and undergraduate student participate together in research. A new blood group was discovered in this college lab.

Fees and Financial Aid

General fees are 157000 inr. Half for ews. For category students, it's between 11000-18000 There are many scholarship opportunities like fee waivership, financial assistance to meritorious students and financially challenged students. Amount of some scholarships. FFE scholarship -80 thousand Yuva scholarship -50 thousand Fee waivership - total fees Government scholarships etc

Campus Life

5

Aavishkar is apparently the biggest medical fest in Maharashtra. Held in March The college is completing 100 years in February. A huge event is scheduled for the celebration. Many celebrities, missionaries, administratives are alumni of the college.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels are available, clean and near the campus, but the accomodation is less So the first year student have to stay in the rented apartments which are so expensive in mumbai. Mess food of hostels is good(acceptable) and affordabe also.

Admission

I was eligible for almost all the colleges of my state and I am in the top college of Maharashtra. Reason of choosing this college was it's reputation, alumni network(100 years), also more practically oriented curriculum.

Faculty

5

Faculties are experienced, take interactive sessions, guide about career opportunities, also they encourage for extracurricular activites like sports, workshops, fests, etc. Exams are regular, are taken according to schedule, Attendance is strictly examined for the eligibility for final exams.

Night Life

5

Libraries are huge, with central AC, well maintained, clean, and huge collection of all the books. College lies in the middle of city. So there are many transport facilities. Many visiting places , and happening surrounding. There is nothing like nightlife in the campus area, but mumbai has many places to visit
