Likes
- It is a safe environment with lots of security in the campus. A lot of patients to get practice.
- The campus is well built and huge with a number of canteens and hostel for those who wish to stay.
Dislikes
- The cleanliness is a bit not upto par as the locals and people who visit are not provided with proper place to stay.
- The campus is slightly confusing as there are a lot of building and connections to other areas
Course Curriculum Overview
The course and teaching is very upto standard and the amount of practice we get in the college is very good. It's an experience to be able to study in a college like that. If you are eager to learn, you learn a lot.
Fees and Financial Aid
For first year we paid about 53000 rupees. This includes 1500 library fees 1500 Gymkhana fees and the rest for tuition fees. In second and third year it reduced to 43000 where the library and gym fees remain same. For exam form we pay an extra 3800. For scholarship if you have any income less than 8 lakh a year you are eligible for Rajarshi shahu Maharaj scholarship that gives back half of your tuition fees so close to 20000. Other category have less fees than general. As it is a government college there are no extra fees taken.
Campus Life
The Gymkhana and the other clubs are very helpful for extra curricular activities. Social events are very lively and the organisers take a lot of effort to make the college lige enjoyable. The sports team of the college is quite known as they win a lot
Admission
The college infrastructure was welcoming and the name precedes the reputation. Also a government College itself is a trademark in medicine. Admission happened through meet counselling and I got 500 although you can get in at 400 as well. This was my first option
Faculty
The faculty is very experienced and approachable. They have a sense of teaching and are eager to teach if the students behave. That being said attendance is taken as more important than the actual lectures. We are to be wasting time in campus sometimes even 3-4 hours but we shall not be allowed to go home. This makes our time useless
