Course Curriculum Overview

5

Teachers are Highly Experienced with Great Clinical Knowledge. Knowledge is imparted in a way that it can be applied through Practical Manners also. Exams are pretty tough to pass but it gets you ready for greater challenges

Internships Opportunities

5

Internship stipend approximately included 17,800 as of now. It includes working throughout Departments for full one year and Developing Clinical Experience for treating Patients. It is hoped that Stipend may increase in upcoming years

Fees and Financial Aid

For Second Year (approximately) General - 185000 General EWS - 87300 Other Categories ( SC/ST ) - 8268 Hostel Fees - 4000 per year Financial Aid can be availed through MAHADBT website and through Multiple Scholarships

Campus Life

5

Multiple Vibrant Annual Fests occur like SANGHARSH , ANTARANG , KURUKSHETRA and Many More. Each Club on their own also conducts Fests that make the life overall very happening and enjoyable. Library currently has poor infrastructure due to slow Renovation which just never seems to be done. Also it contains Student Association GMCSA that has multiple Groups under the umbrella. Major ones including Book Club , Music Club , Dance Club and etc

Hostel Facilities

1

Poor Hostel Accomodation Facilities Deteriorated Infrastructure with Poor Uncleaned Washrooms. No Facilities are provided and Major spending occurs from student's pocket. Water is not available 24/7 and hence everything has to be done under that timings.

Admission

I also Applied for GSMC and TNMC. But Experience in GGMC has been great so far. Comparatively life is GGMC is easy to get along with a close knit family culture that binds the Students together. Culture in GSMC and TNMC has been more of individualistic manner and it gets difficult to get along further Years of MBBS.

Faculty

5

Poor Faculty to Student Ratio. It depends upon department but average being 20:250. Best Faculties Includes Dr. Rashmi Sinha from Anatomy Dr. Shyamal Sinha and Dr. Abhijeet Khobragade from Pharmacology Dr. Rajesh Jawale and Dr. Girish Bakshi from Surgery Per Year 4 exams are conducted 1. First Internals 2. Second Internals 3. Prelims 4. University Examinations

Night Life

5

Campus has a great and more importantly, a Safe nightlife. It has many Canteens like Central Canteen, Doctors Canteen and Nursing canteen. Food served is of moderate to poor quality and highly variable. Boys Hostel do not have any time restrictions but Girls Hostel had In time of 10.30 till Second Year and 12 midnight from 3rd Year.

I genuinely choosed this course to earn money. Even this course offers respect in society. And prepares well for the real world applications. In my college they use projector for teaching and not digital board. Exams conducted are very easy and not so strict.

Curriculum is highly planned and very vast. Regular revision is necessary to caver all subjects. All subjects are taught with high practical basis hence ensuring exposure and preparing for real life exposure. Teaching could be more consise and logic based. Main exams are every 2 to 3 months with difficulty slightly higher in term 2 than term 1.
