Course Curriculum Overview

4

I genuinely choosed this course to earn money. Even this course offers respect in society. And prepares well for the real world applications. In my college they use projector for teaching and not digital board. Exams conducted are very easy and not so strict.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship is compulsary for every student after final year and its for one year and stipend is around 20 thousons as of i heard . Internship is a hectic job that is conducted after final year in every medical college compulasarily.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 69000 as tution fees. The MBBS First Year Fee Structure for the academic year 2024–2025 at Government Medical College, Chandrapur is as follows. For open category students, the annual tuition fee is ?1,38,300. In addition to this, there are other charges such as admission fee ?1,500, development fee ?5,000, university fee about ?1,000, laboratory deposit ?3,000, library deposit ?3,000, gymkhana fee ?500, and disaster management fund ?10. The main amount of ?1,38,300 is to be paid through a demand draft in favour of “The Dean, Government Medical College, Chandrapur.” A separate demand draft of ?1,500 is required in favour of “The Dean, GMCC Student Council A/C, Chandrapur.” For reserved category students (SC, ST, VJ, NT, OBC, EWS, SBC, and EBC), the tuition fee is waived, and they need to pay only ?15,840 as other institutional fees along with ?1,500 as the student council fee. The amount of ?15,840 should be paid through a demand draft in favour of “The Dean, Government Medical College, Chandrapur,” while ?1,500 should be paid through a separate demand draft in favour of “The Dean, GMCC Student Council A/C, Chandrapur.” If a student is allotted a hostel, additional charges such as hostel fee ?300 and hostel deposit ?300 are required, which must be paid separately after hostel allotment. I availed scholarship of 50% of tution fee. It is Maha dbt scholarship for students of maharashtra.

Campus Life

4

Fetivals like shivjayanti and infinito and ganesh featival are the major events incollege. College includes library but i have not ever seen any book present there. There is only a badmintion court that is also open and no other sport.

Admission

I applied for all the government medical colleges of maharashtra but according to my rank and benefits of catagory i got this college and in 3rd attempt so there was not option for me so i had to opt this college. Admission process is also easy and cutoff scores vary year to year and state to state and also catagory.

Faculty

4

There are 90 boys and 60 girls that ratios to 3 is to 2. Faculties are good and not so impressive . There are 3 exams that are conducted named first internal second internal and prelims and finally university exams. Geenerally 2 to 3 students fail every year

Night Life

4

They collect the gym fees but there is no any gym in college no cafeteria present Hostel timings open at 6 am and closes at 10 pm. College locality is safe as it is guarded by the MSF. At night inside the college there is place for roaming

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is highly planned and very vast. Regular revision is necessary to caver all subjects. All subjects are taught with high practical basis hence ensuring exposure and preparing for real life exposure. Teaching could be more consise and logic based. Main exams are every 2 to 3 months with difficulty slightly higher in term 2 than term 1.
