The Current MBBS curriculum based on CBME 2024 is to make doctors ready to practice, clinically oriented and patient Ready The redesigned curriculum essentially improves students clinical skills and makes them ready to practice For further course MBBS acts as a great stepping stone where in post MBBS students can pursue MD : For Medicine and Related Branches ( Pathology, Paediatrics, Anaesthetia ) MS : For Surgery and Related Branches ( Anatomy, General Surgery) Post specialization, students can pursue Super specialization like DM : Cardiology, Rheumatology , Nephrology, etc M.Ch : Neurosurgery, Cardio Thoracic surgery, etc Examination are integral part of the curriculum 2 Part Completion Tests every 3 months 1 Prelims at end of the year 1 Proff Exam at University Level At end of Final Year a NeXT exam has been proposed which will act as Licensing exam for Medical Graduates. It will be a 2 step exam Step 1 : Final year subjects ( after completion of final year ) Step 2 : Practical oriented examination ( after completion of internship)

Internships Opportunities

For Medical colleges, Internship is compulsory Post Final year ( 1 year CRMI ) Interns are placed in various departments at the District Civil Hospital to gain Hands on Experience and enhance patient interaction skills . Stipend : 18000 / month ( As per Government Directives)

Mess facility available at Local mess Rs.2500 Month Food quality: Average Rice , 5 chapati, Vegetable, Salad served Students can change mess as per their Need Rate / month : Rs.2500 - Rs. 3500 For PG nearby homes are available around The college itself . Admission

Admitted to GMC Sindhudurg in Round 1 of Maharashtra State Counselling Admitted to GMC Buldhana in Round 3 of Maharashtra State Counselling Choose a new college over the old one to avoid ragging and other issues Preffered a City as Sindhudurg was located in remote areas ( though better connected via Railway as well as Airport to major cities ) Only accepted exam for Undergraduate Medical Entrance is NEET UG Cutoffs vary for AIQ and State Quota Estimations for 2025 are : For Open Category: AIR under 25000 ( 15% AIQ ) AIR under 40000 ( 85% SQ ) ( State Merit List : 2400 - 2900 ) Cutoffs vary year by year , category by category and round by round Official cutoff for 2024 year can be viewed at www.gmcbuldhana.org for all categories

No only the NEET exam is sole criteria for admission to all Medical College ( except AFMC where additional Exam is conducted for language and physical test ) For admission all valid documents have to be submitted to the institute in original format
