AFMC Pune MBBS Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admission to the MBBS course at AFMC Pune must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:
- Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) with at least 60% Marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with English as a Compulsory Subject.
- Candidates must be 17 Years of age on December 31 but must not have attained the age of 24 years on the same date.
- Aspirants should not be married at the time of admission or during the course of study.
- They should be medically fit as per prescribed standards by the Ministry of Defence, Government of India.
- Aspirants should be Indian Nationals. Foreign nationals of Indian origin must acquire Indian citizenship or a certificate of eligibility from the Ministry of Home Affairs.
- Government-sponsored candidates from Friendly Foreign countries are exempted from this.
- Candidates who have given compartmental exams or have not passed in one single attempt are not eligible to apply.
AFMC Pune MBBS Selection Criteria
The selection of candidates for admission to MBBS at AFMC Pune is based on NEET UG. The NEET-Qualified candidates will have to then register and apply for AFMC, Pune during the NEET Counseling registration window on the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee.
- After the completion of registration, DGHS will display the merit list of candidates who have applied to AFMC Pune listing their NEET Roll Numbers.
- A total of 1700 candidates will be called for the screening, including approximately 1380 boys and 360 girls.
- The schedule of the screening will be released at www.afmcdg1d.gov.in/.
Candidates who are shortlisted will have to appear for the following selection rounds:
- Test of English Language, Comprehension, Logic and Reasoning (ToELR): 80 Marks
- Psychological Assessment Test (PAT): Qualifying

There is an admission fee of 96000 for 4.5 years and the fee is equal for all There is a seperate criteria for selection which is some english and logical reasoning tests with medical and interview along with psychological assessment of the applicant

In AFMC , there is one time fee submission i.e 90k at the time of admission Then monthly u have to pay mess bill only of around 2k including laundry, hair cut ,etc charges There is no hostel and mess food charges(free) Here allowance is given to each cadet at regular interval to fulfil basic necessities Yearly we have to pay around 30k including University paper fee

The only one-time fee is 81000 rs, After that, there are no fees, No hostel fees, No tuition fees. We also get a monthly allowance for our expenditure. During internship cadets are ranked as army officers and their salary is 1 lakh per month.
