Remarks

The admission process in Armed Forces Medical College is based on the score of the NEET exam. When the neet results are out AFMC releases cut off. So those who have applied for AFMC are called for counseling on the basis of their cut off. Just after the NEET exam, AFMC releases its application. So AFMC calls all the candidates who are eligible for the counseling and conducts a screening test. The screening test comprises of three steps. The first step is ToELR (Test of English language, Comprehension, and Logical Reasoning) test and PAT (Psychological Assessment Test). After this they put a merit list, those who are qualified for interview. After the interview they conduct medical. And finally, they add all the marks including the neet score and release the final merit list. Those who are qualified are called to join the college. In my opinion, this is the best college ever. You just have to pay 5000/- as admission fee and then later on all your expenses are handled by them. It is a real HEAVEN..!!

Course Curriculum Overview

Everything including books are provided by the AFMC. There are many programs held by them. There is a very big library which is fully air-conditioned.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel accommodations are properly their responsibility. We do not have to pay for it It is the only college I guess that is having such criteria for students. I love this college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The current curriculum is comprehensive based curriculum. Here practical knowledge is more important than bookish knowledge. So now spending more time in wards is of greater importance. Exams are held accordingly - 2 internals, 1 prilims and 1 University held by MUHS. Each exam is followed by practical examination. This curriculum will help to build good doctors rather than bookish doctors.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a very secure option to get a job later You get to open your own hospital later on. The curriculum is very practically oriented. you get hands on experience on patients and cadavers. Appropriate skills are taught as well through college programmes. Teaching is by presentation mode which gets quite boring for long hours but it's bearable when combined with afternoon practicals. Exams take place every 6months 2 term exams, 1 prelims , 1 University level exam
