Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum prepares the student very well for the medical knowledge and medical practice the course is designed in such a way to make the student knowledgeable and confident enough To practice medicine and treat them. Lectures , practicals , SLMs , PCTs, Prelims, annual exam And clinical postings Make the student very much aware of the medical knowledge That he or she is receiving. In third year the practical can be more engaging in my opinion Exam difficulty level is okay and It covers all the topics which are taught under given in the syllabus Which are needed to be there

Campus Life

there are all kinds of clubs in Dmmc We have a cultural event called GFC in Ganesh festival celebration Period In which many cultural Event happen in a period of 10 days Students have to arrange For the event and the event goes very good We have competitions as well like inter College competitions and intra College competition

Admission

I applied to this college because this college was the only private college in Nagpur Which I could get into with My score As there is only Lata Mangeshkar Medical College which comes under which is its cut-off goes very high and I was Sure that I would not get into it As I am residing in Nagpur and I am resident of Nagpur I want to do study in Nagpur only so that's why I chose this college as Jawaharlal Nehru medical College Wardha has a good reputation which is a sister college of this college I decided this is a good college to get into

Faculty

5

we have two PCT , one prelims & one annual exam For passing a year every exam exam have SLM Before it is conducted to induce practice for the exam Every syllabus is taught beforehand and each student is given a receptor to help them in their studies and regarding anything in the college With a group of 10 students one preceptor is handed over to them which helps them in everything the faculty is very nice in teaching as well as providing skilful knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college takes its application of the CBME that is "competency based medical education" very seriously. From second year that is the third semester itself, students have to participate in clinical postings in different departments everyday. During these clinics you get to interact with patients and asses them. Also considering the flood of patients in the hospital, you get to see many different patients and cases during these clinics. Even the more obscure departments like Psychiatry have a variety of patients coming from different places. This allows the students to actually experience in real life, outside of bookish knowledge the sign and symptom presentation of various diseases. This further helps the student to understand and reproduce the theory they've learned better. This is the most important part. Other than that, the professors guide you when you approach them. The other staff is very helpful too like the nurses and ward staff.

Placement Experience:

Students from the second year themselves are sent to the hospitals for posting in order to get more information and to learn new things. The college also provided internships of a year or one and a half years during which the students are paid a stipend of about 15000 to 20000 inr. Nearly 95% to 100% of students get their internship done from the college itself. There is an increase in the money offered by the college based on your knowledge and experience. There are also various pharma companies which take students in their company also the college provides placement in well know hospitals. I want to do further education and get my ms and MD. for which I would try and get bjgmc.

Actually, in the MBBS course, there is no issue of placement. After completing 4.5year course we have to do a 1yr internship in which you get earning of 5k per month. Also after the internship, you get the MBBS degree. Then you have to do 1year service in a rural area where you get 60k-80k payment per month from the government. After that, you can start your clinic or many government job opportunities available like a medical officer. One can also study further by cracking the NEET PG/ NEXT exam.
