Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is under Competency Based Medical Education it is with competencies in each subject and it helps very well to conquer at each and every subject. The practicals are also very well taught so that you can get hands on in every type of equipment and knowledge about all the things. Medical field in itself is very hard to chase but the difficulty level is quite impresssive in our curriculum it maintains the academic level of the college and University. The timing is also well matched keeping in mind with all the holidays and preparatory time

Fees and Financial Aid

The year-wise fees i pay is approximately Rs 23 Lakhs it increases per year by 7.5% increment in which the Tution fees is Rs 21 Lakhs , Co-Curricular fees per annum is 1 Lakh 25 thousand and University fees excluding University Exams one time is Rs 1 Lakh and Hostel charges are around Rs 3 to 4 lakh depending upon room type ( Single or Double )

Campus Life

4.5

There are so many events the biggest is GFC which is during the Ganpati Festival and there are some other functions too like Celeste and gaming competition, Sports competition. The college is more known for its library which is very vast and there are so many books and it is one of the biggest libraries in Maharashtra. The sports activities are so much hyped in because of the availability of Turf and equipment of various other sports There are various clubs for each section like Literature, Quiz, Sports, Dance, Music etc.

Admission

I applied to NKP Salve College ( Lata Mangeshkar ) Nagpur and some colleges of Chattisgarh too but the fees was higher in DMMC still i got there because of more flexibility in travelling and without a hostel. I didn't get rejection in other colleges it just basically that Datta Meghe Medical College was on my first priority and i got there so I was happy the counselling process is conducted through MCC through its website and there is a fee of 2 lakh rupees which is refundable after you get the college

Curriculum is highly planned and very vast. Regular revision is necessary to caver all subjects. All subjects are taught with high practical basis hence ensuring exposure and preparing for real life exposure. Teaching could be more consise and logic based. Main exams are every 2 to 3 months with difficulty slightly higher in term 2 than term 1.
