i have joined vit ap in 2022 there are two options to enter in vitap , either you can enter throuh viteee or eapcet. i have entered through viteee (viteee is an entrance exam).the fee structure depends on categories for tution fees category 1 fees is 195000,category 2 fees is 304000 category fees 3 is 400000 , category 4 fees is 445000 , category 5 fees is 490000, and hoset fee stars from 120000 and there is caution deposit which is refundabled paid in first year 15000 and the fee stays same as the first year tution fee . there are few scholarships provided for few category students who joined from eapcet based on caste background and financial status
there is a very good relation between student and faculty and for every student there is a mentor assigned to them . we can meet the faculty in the vacant times of them which will be mentioned in front of the faculty cabin . i like mr kiran kumar teached me python and artificial intelligence i liked him because he helped me with gaining practical knowledge i have liked all the teachers who teached me . the exams are based on the number of students registered for the semester and there are two mids and one final semester exam more than 90% students clear exams the exams are medium .
Based on the subject the exam structure is different, for example there is open book and open notes and closed books and some exam we have to attend in lab , for semester we have to select subject and faculty based an that the exam will conduct.
The technical clubs are useful for use in placement so ,and there many club technical and non technical, and every year there conduct sports in our college with other colleges students, and there provide prize for winning colleges
For every semester each and individual student has to register for the courses and it comes from FIFO process that is first come first serve method. After registering the time table is prepared for individual student except first semester. In First semester the university will be providing the courses and fixes the faculty. For every sem there will be 2 CAT exams, 3 internal exams or quizzes and 1 assignment and FAT exam. Cat exams are mid exams, in each cat exam there will be 2 modules is the syllabus. For FAT its entire syllabus. For core subjects you are included with labs too and lab exams are different scenario. In labs you need to do each assignment in 1week, means one class a week. Overall there will be 10 assignments for 10 weeks and at last you are going to write a lab FAT too. Overall grading will be taken as 15 percent for each cat and 40 percent for fat and 30 percent for lab fat and assignments.. In total you will be getting 100 percent. Some subjects are relative grading and some are absolute grading. In relative grading the grades depends the performance of overall class, where as in absolute its university decided system that 90 to 100 is S and so on... The highest grade is S The lowest grade is F If you are absent its N While coming to faculty some are rude and some are student friendly. Most are student friendly in explanation but marks wise and work distribution wise its and different scenario. In my time the North faculties in special maths faculties were literally rock heart persons, they won't explain things good and behaves emotion less. But it depends on person to person.. Overall the faculties are good in teaching subjects and giving marks. I in person didn't like is Arun kumar yadav(Maths). His rude and attitude kind of person except that his an good and knowledgeable person. Unfortunately his my mentor too. He rearly provides leaves with unusual nonsense words to accept that leaves. So this is my experience about the college
Courses are good but not good enough because in this present world situations a course should improvize the person capabilities with an practical knowledge. Hence in vit this fails because it offers good named course but while teaching it the faculty runs off. For suppose a course like theory of computation has to be teached with proper practical knowledge and theory too. Unfortunately it lacks in vit courses and some subjects like english and advanced hindi and german languages and some foreign language and entrepreneurship subjects are minus to the curriculum
The faculty are a mixed bag, sometimes really good sometimes really bad. All the DCE faculty are really good most of the time but some faculty will just not teach you anything, have a massive ego etc. I liked prof RC Singh, RKS, Pk Jain and many more, i didnt like R Gautam, as he doesn't teach in the class. There 4 exams in a year, they are relatively easy if you study one week prior you can score well. The course is extremely relevant but a little outdated. Like they are teaching me Electrical eng subject in this sem but it doesn't have ac motors but old dc motors, but it does have the charging and discharging circuits etc.
Dtu has it as it's strong suite. I don't think so I need to explain much here, we have engifest and many other fests. But recently these fests are getting cancelled a lot and the funds are not being released for these fests. The general crowd is also very different now, most of the people would rather enjoy haryanvi and punjabi songs so that is what is many times targeted which I personally don't like. But that is subjective. I would advice you to joint atleast any one tech team in your first year according to your interest, you will learn a lot.
Campus life at DTU is vibrant and engaging. There are many technical, cultural, and sports societies where students can participate, learn new skills, and interact with peers. Events and festivals create a strong social environment. The campus infrastructure, including libraries, labs, sports facilities, and open spaces, supports both academics and extracurricular activities.
Placements at DTU are generally very good, with many reputed companies visiting the campus every year. Students receive opportunities in tech, consulting, and core sectors with competitive salary packages. The strong alumni network and active placement cell also help students secure internships and job opportunities.

The overall experience is quite good because I am living near DTU which is like 15-20 min from my home so it very easy for me to come college and hangout and explore college with my friends. Also the society I join is also give me a soft skills like communication, management of a event, corporate basic knowledge etc.
My overall campus life was quite positive and balanced between academics and social activities. The college provided a good environment for students to interact, collaborate, and build friendships through various events and daily campus interactions. There were several student clubs such as technical clubs, cultural clubs, and sports teams which helped students explore their interests beyond academics. I participated in technical events and college fests which helped improve teamwork, communication, and leadership skills while also making campus life enjoyable. The social atmosphere on campus was friendly and supportive, making it easy for students from different backgrounds to connect and work together. In terms of infrastructure, the college had well-maintained classrooms, laboratories, a central library with a good collection of books and digital resources, and dedicated spaces for seminars and workshops. The campus also had sports facilities, open areas for student gatherings, and basic amenities like Wi-Fi, cafeteria, and study spaces which supported both academic and recreational activities. While some facilities could benefit from modernization and upgrades, overall the infrastructure and campus environment provided a comfortable and productive space for learning and student life.
The faculty in the college are well qualified and most have good know how of their core field. The fac to stud ratio is near 1:15 which helps in good class link and easy doubt clear. Most fac are easy to talk to and help stud with proj work, labs and exam prep. Some of the best fac in the dept were Dr Ravi Kumar, Prof Suresh and Dr Meena as they used clear teach ways, real life ex and gave good guide in proj work. They also gave time to stud out of class hours. A few fac were not liked by some stud as their teach style was more theory based and class talk was less clear, which made some topics hard to grasp. The course plan is well set and has both core and lab based sub that help stud gain tech skill. The plan is in line with uni rules and gives base for both jobs and high study. The exam sys has two mid sem tests and one end sem exam for each sem. Marks are split with near 40% from mid tests, assign and lab work and 60% from the end sem exam. The exams are of mid to high level and most stud who keep up with class and lab work are able to pass. A small set of stud may fail in tough sub but they can clear them in sup exams. The course plan is quite apt for eng study and helps build both theory know how and real use skill.

the fatulty to student ratio is one faculty has students of approx 70 in their calass and they are very interactive and student friendly and are everytime willing to help your in your course I liked Dr. Bomma reddy lokesh sir because he is my mentor fro mr 4 years and has helped me a lot by assisting me through everthing and i had some issues in my hostem water and mess timings and i complained to him and he rectified the issues as soon as possible I dislike some faculties because they are not sooo student friendly and doesnt show intrest in helping students
the faculty to student ratio is good, with 1 faculty per every ten students in one batch. the faculties are amazing at what they do especially because they have good industry experience and teach in relevant subjects. they help students establish a good base and are friendly and easy to approach. the exams are a combination of theory and practical and it allows students to apply everything we've learnt in exams. there are two exams per semester, mid sem and end sem exams. most of the students can easily clear their exams. the curriculum is also very flexible and adds all the trends and innovations in the industry into the syllabus. it focuses on practical learning rather than on rote learning
the annual cultural fest is Aloha and it requires a lot of work put in by students. Aside from this, the media department has its own annual production that is a media convention cum festival called Vritika, and it is in the 9th edition this year. the library provides amazing resources for all students related to their course work. all books and reference material can be found in the library. there are a lot of student run social clubs and cells, and they provide with opportunities to learn extra skill as well

My overall experience is very good in college.every year we have vitpoia fest and every month we have various club events.the library is open all time we have large number of books and class room with digital screen and sports event held inside college every day and students can enjoy the college life
Every one in the college have their mentors and they will guide us .we have course registration to choose the subjects and faculty to teach.they were available in their cabins to clarify our doubts and we have 3 exams cat 1,cat 2 and fat over all we need 40 marks to pass in final exams for 100 marks
Faculty to student ratio is around 50, in few branches the faculty is strict although they are approachable The best faculties in my brach are vineet kumar and jyoti yadav as they are very approachable and help you whenever and however they can Asha rani and R.C thakur are very strict professors who can be very difficult to handle There are mid and end sems every sem so a total of 8 exams are held during entire course and each sem has around 5-6 exams On average around 5-6 students get back
You will get some opportunities in the 3rd year for internship but it is relatively hard to get an internship in 3rd year , in the final year placements max companies come for intern + ppo and intern + fte so there is max chance that you will get an internship before your degree I got an internship at tech swarm industry as a full stack developer and the founder was nsut alumini
ADVITYA is the only annual or technical fest it generally helds in february any student can easily access the book and journals placed in the library .Every classroom has a projector and no much technological advancement in the classrooms. the sport facilities are very poor in this college even the bare minimum facilities are not provided no permanent cricket or football ground there are various clubs in the university run by students
from the 6 or 7 semester the student become eligible for campus placement.Companies like dell, amazon, zomato and mass recruiters like tcs and conginizant also come . this year the highest package was 70 lpa and 8 lpa is the average package offered 1200 across offfers are made 60 percent of students are placed generally sde role is offered my plan is to get a decent job
I joined VIT AP in category 1. So, my fee is 195000. The fee changes according to the category. Category depends on the rank they got in VITEEE exam. I aslo paid 15000 as caution deposit. There are no scholarships, but there is a scheme called star batch for whom the education is free.
The curriculum is very well organized. It contains the theory and lab components such that the student can gain knowledge in both and get practical experience. The improvement I suggest is the professors should concentrate more on explaining instead of reading PPTs
right now placements are not that much great as compared to past records. beacuse of market requirment placements are availabe but canges to get placed is now more difficult beacuse of competition paremeter and companies requirments. placements depends upon students then branch so having better branch increses the chances to get placed. also highest package is around 85lkhs/annum avg is about 15lkhs and minimun is about 3-4lkhs
faculty members are highly skilled but most of them can't able to teach properly or able to convey their knowledge. course is designed based upon market requirments but not that much updated. exam are divided into 2 parts mid term and end term in lab based subject students have to score 21/60 overall to pass without lab based 27/75
So, the fee structure at NIT Kurukshetra is based on two categories. The first category is based on the income basis and the other is for the reservation categories. The Students having their family income greater than 5 lakhs are supposed to pay INR 90,000 per semester(excluding hostel). The students with their family income lying in the range 1-5lakhs are supposed to pay INR 48,000 and below 1 lakhs are supposed to pay INR 29,000. Hostel fees is same for all the students which is approximately INR 45,000. Also, many students avail scholarships through other platforms while students also get scholarship from college, based on the performance of a particular semester. Also, the fees mentioned above includes all type of fees like lab fees, medical fees etc.
The faculty here at NIT Kurukshetra are very supportive and understanding. The course is divided into 8 semesters with on average 5-6 courses per semester. The exam includes two midsems and one end sem. The two midsems hold a weightage of 30 marks(15 marks each) and end sem of 50 marks with 20 marks lying in the teachers hand of attendance and class performance. Also, for the Practical subjects weighted marks are calculated with 1/4 marks from practicals and 3/4 from theory.
Faculty to Students ratio is good and almost every faculty is dedicated towards their specific subject. Doubt clearing happens in the lecture itself instead of later keeping the student waiting which is a good thing. Depending on the semester there are around 4-5 written exams. Passing these exams is not very tough with very few number of students failing that also mostly bacause of personal or circumstantial reasons.
All of subject and skills they teach in college are relevent to today's technology and college also arranges time to time guest sessions of people from specific skills or tech background for more detailed insight into industry. With use of modern technology, material and notes to teach and assessment too.
The faculty member in our college are experienced and supportive. Most professors are approachable amd encourgae students to ask questions and participate in discussions. Some of the best faculties explain comples topics in a very simple and practical way.
The fee structure pf my course is moderate and affordable compared to other colleges. In the first year i paid?42,500 and for second year i paid ?48000. Scholarships are also available for eligible students such as Sc/St category.
There is an annual abhivyanjana fest of two days. There is also dawat-e-gbu which is full of different stalls put up by students and sellers from outside. There is a really good library that you can use with reading rooms as well. The washrooms are awful and water coolers don't work.
There are plenty of faculties and they are quite approachable. Some faculties simple read from their presentations but their question papers are easy as well. Your college life will be easier if you do not take on any faculties as they can actually make your life hell.
