I am pursuing a two-year full-time MBA program at Punjab College of Technical Education (PCTE), Ludhiana. The fee structure for the progrma is fixed on a yearly basis. The yearly fee for the MBA program in my batch (2025) is Rs. 1,00,000. The yearly fee is divided into per semester fee of Rs. 50,000 (approx.). The total academic fee for the complete two-year course is approximately Rs. 2,00,000. The fee of all the students are same irrespective of their categories. Breakup of Major Components (Approximate): (a) Tuition Fee :- Primary Component (majority of the yearly fee). (b) Admission/Registration Fee :- Included in the first semester. (c) Development Fee & Miscellaneous Charges :- Covers library, laboratory (computer lab), student welfare, examination (mid sem exams), and other facilities.
The faculty-to-student ration in the MBA department is decent, roughly around 1:20. This allows for some personal interaction, though it depends on the class size. Most faculty members are approacable. You can meet them during office hours or after class for doubts. There are mid semester exams conducted 2 times in a semester in which the question paper is set as per university style question paper which help alot during final exams. The marking schee is as per the university prescribed norms as the exam is checked by university.
My overall experience with campus life has been a dynamic, fast-paced journey that perfectly balances the intense academic demands of engineering with a vibrant, self-contained community lifestyle. It is an environment where you are constantly pushed to grow, not just as a student, but as an individual.
The academic framework of an engineering institution is designed to transform enthusiastic learners into industry-ready professionals. It relies heavily on four distinct pillars: the faculty ecosystem, the curriculum structure, the evaluation system, and a balanced marking scheme
Fees are the biggest concern for me. I come from a middle-class family, but after knowing about the fees and the scholarships that JGU offers, i feel confident, because the fees are justifiable with the facilities and the knid of academics offered by the university. I got selected for a merit-cum-means scholarship, by which my fees became much less as compared to other students. If you calculate the monthly expeniture that you incur otherwise living in any other city on your own, my monthly hostel fees is very reasonable considering the kind of facilities i get inside the campus.
Our Professor and Dean, Prof. (Dr.) Derick H. Lindquist has over 25 years of academic experience, during which he has published more than 30 research and review articles. Also, he has mentored undergraduate and postgraduate students in the USA, China, and India. Every professor at JGU has published research papers and review articles, and they have academic as well as professional experience. The best part is that they are ready to help even after classes with any issue related to the subject.

The placement opportunities at Silver Oak University are decent for students from IT and computer-related courses. The university has a dedicated placement and training cell that organizes aptitude training, mock interviews, technical workshops, soft skill sessions, and campus recruitment drives to improve students’ employability.
Last month, JSJC organized KOS MINAR 2026, which is an international documentory film festival. Those 3 days were magical for me. I met a few of the directors through my professors. And this is just one part of the entire campus life at JGU. Campus life is active, or i would say proactive, at the university. Form events to sports meets, every day there is a new opportunity for students to learn and showcase their talents. Also, there are many food spots on campus, including Chicago Pizza, Basil, Juice and More, Mahabelle, Bistro 57, and many more. But i personally prefer a cup of coffee from Starbucks in the morning and evening.
Internships are part of the curriculum. The Office of Career services provides internship opportunities in various fields such as reporting, editing, public relations, communication, and digital media. Icompleted my last internship at a PR agency, where i learned from marketing experts how to rebuild a brand's image by creating awareness videos. Further, if you are in the last semester of the program and you perform well during the internship period, then the internship can convert into a full-time job opportunity.
The curriculum covers both the practical and theoritical aspects of the subjects in balanced way. It has a combination of both the core-related topics and practical based sessions. It provides good exposure to the real-world applications through mini projects, assignments and technical fests.

Faculty to student ratio is 1:5 were they are guided completely with evry step.I liked everyone as they are very much encuragive and more excited to push students front. Exam schedule is there will be 4 semisters in two years and 8 Mid-Terms like each sem of two Mids and they will be calculating 80-20% in those two mids.Course Curriculumis to obvious and runs according to plan and students barely fail.

For data science the cost of the seat is 14 lakhs for 4 years and due to scholarship it is 68,500 per month and government will pay it if your parents job is a private job.During sem exams you should pay the money which is around 2000 and library fee for each year which is nearly 3000.And you should pay for the records which is of cost 100.If in the case government fails to pay 68,500 , parents should pay the fee.

We are having 20 students in one batch and there is only one mental for us but generally in B.tech courses there are 6250 students in the class and only one faculties there for them that actually were bad Deepti mam is a very sweet teacher and also Pooja ma'am and Sachin Sir are my favourite teachers and I kind of dislike Dinesh Tripathi sir because obviously give me very less marks due to my short attendance in the internals but Deepti Mam and all the other teachers in my second semester are really supportive and helpful to me but the first semester teacher was very bad
That this course is very futuristic Actually I am it is affiliated with KPMG so some KPMG faculties regulatory come to our college after 1 or 2 months and they often help us for the real world problems there should be more student and advertisement and actually more activities for us because we are less so we are not getting that much the exam difficult level is very low because students are actually not that good in studies and the competition is very low
