Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum of the course is quite focused on the industry level and relevant for the present scenario but there is need of more practical and application type of learning so that each student can make his/her mind clear about what really happens.

Placement Experience

3

Placements at DTU are generally very good, with many reputed companies visiting the campus every year. Students receive opportunities in tech, consulting, and core sectors with competitive salary packages. The strong alumni network and active placement cell also help students secure internships and job opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

My tution fees is about 2,30,000 on average there are multiple scholarships programs that are available for the students on the basis of merit and financial conditions of a student so that he/she can study without worrying about the finances.

Campus Life

4

Campus life at DTU is vibrant and engaging. There are many technical, cultural, and sports societies where students can participate, learn new skills, and interact with peers. Events and festivals create a strong social environment. The campus infrastructure, including libraries, labs, sports facilities, and open spaces, supports both academics and extracurricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

4

DTU hostels provide basic facilities like beds, study tables, chairs, fans, and cupboards. Rooms are shared and comfortable for students. The mess serves regular meals with a fixed menu; food quality is average but manageable. Hostel allotment is done through the university and is affordable compared to PGs.

Admission

I chose DTU because of its strong academic reputation, good placement record, and competitive peer group. Compared to other colleges I considered, DTU offers better industry exposure, infrastructure, and opportunities through active societies. Admission is through JEE Main followed by JAC Delhi counseling based on rank and preferences.

Faculty

4

The faculty to students ratio is quite good in our branch the batch is of 300 students and the faculties are 30+ and each faculty is quite supportive and when a student approach them they don't hesitate or day no to resolve the problem. There are two exams mid semester wise and end semester in a single semester.

Night Life

4

Nightlife around DTU is calm but social. Library, gym, and most cafeterias close by evening. Hostels have entry timings for safety. Students hang out at campus spots or nearby Hudson Lane cafes. The area is generally safe, and late-night walks or food outings with friends help students relax after classes.

Placement Experience:

For placement, I would say it is average in terms of top-tier colleges. Average placement is 6 LPA; the highest last year was 29 LPA in BTech AI/ML. Placement is offered in the 4th year of the courses, and there are on-campus placements available, but under significant criteria based on the recruiting company like cgpa should be more then 7.5 no active backlog and all so these are the cretiera that a company demands and depands of dfiffrent companies i dont have any subsqueent infomation regaridng the name of companies visited and no of offer made but i have the information regarding thear placement percenateg it was aroung 82 percent last year my plans are to prepare for govt exam and get in there after getting degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was evidently outdated and irrelevant to modern engineering challenges and could have severely disadvantaged students' learning outcomes. Although, interaction with seniors compensated this.

I don't know much about placement because I don't want to sit in the placement drive of my college. Like I told earlier also that I have interest in electronics, so I want to do something in that field. If I want then I will give GATE exam after 4 years of my college so that I can get a chance to do MTECH in vlsi.
