Remarks
In the campus we really enjoy a lot as we have so much freedom compared to many colleges. There are Technical Symposiums for each department and also we have student clubs like youth blue cross,youth red cross etc.
Entrance Preview
You need to first apply for ssn entrance exam online through college website and then register for the test.There are around 800 seats for B.tech/B.E.Then after filling all the details .After this as per the given dates we need to write online exam for the admission.After that the college calculates the score and checks whether we are eligible or not depending upon our marks.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is want an efficient engineering should have after completing his graduation all those courses and skills have been included in the curriculum. The curriculum is well scrutinized by the faculty who offer suggestions with their experience.
Internships Opportunities
This year unlike previous years we had campus drives and many companies hired students.I amn't sure if this will continue in future years or not.We can also earn internships off campus which isn't a difficult task.
Placement Experience
Around 60 companies come to our college to hire students like TCS,Wipro,HCL,Infosys,Conizant,Accenture,Zoho,L&T etc. No.of Placements in branches like civil engineering,chemical and bio-technology are somewhat less than other branches. Placements for Cse and It department are maximum.Highest package was for 15 lakhs with average package of 3.5 Lakh.
College Events
We have technical cultural fests organized every year by each department of the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is as follows: In government category seats the fees are: accredited programs it is 40,000 and non accredited programs it is 32,500 whereas in management category for both type of programs the fee is 62,500. These fees are per anum.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are various types of scholarships like walk in walk out scholarships,merit scholarships,merit cum means scholarships,sports scholarships. Scholarships up to 4 crores can be obtained.Loan facility is also available.
Campus Life
SSN college is well known for its sports.I too have obtained seat in sports category and believe me the coaching here for sports is excellent.People here are mostly found of sports.
Hostel Facilities
We don't have PG's but we have hostels with good infrastructure and all necessary facilities.The food isn't to delicious but edible and somewhat better compared to many hostels.
Alumni/Alumna
Our Alumni can be said the best.Our alumni association provides us a chance to share our views on technical,professional,cultural views.Its provides a connectivity with the alumni for sharing knowledge and volunteer
Exam Structure
We actually enjoyed our lab and everything related to labs. We don't have serious exam which we get tired and vexed off. We have enough and sometimes more than enough breaks between exams which is sufficient to relax or prepare in a relaxed mode
Faculty
The faculty here are well experienced and well trained.They are very interactive and open-minded.They have done their Master's and some of them have completed PhD also.
