Remarks

So basically I was trying to get into nit Trichy but unfortunately I was not able to , even though I got a seat in Birla institute of technology, Mesra , Ranchi in Mechanical engineering I didn't go for that becoz that is too far from my home home town , then I came to know about SSN where I got admission in BE Computer Science and engineering through management quota, pursuing Cse in SSN has really good scopes , better placement opportunities, also my hometown is like 250 km away , so I thought it would be better .

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is based on Anna University, they have well - structured , blending theoretical concepts with practical applications . They also allocate lab periods in which the students learn practical things that has been taught in class , it encourage critical thinking and problem solving , preparing students for real world challenges .

Internships Opportunities

5

Students get internship during their pre-final year. SSN college of engineering offers a variety of internship opportunities to students , helping them gain industry exposure and hands - on experience. These interships are often facilitated through the college 's strong ties with leading companies and industries. The college conducts regular campus recruitment fdrives and collaborates with industries like IT , manufacturing, electronics , and more . Companies like Paypal , city bank , Infosys comes to internship. More than 50-60 percentage of the students get internshipa through college while rest of the students have to get internship through off-campus, but placement wise they provide Statics like 98 percentage of the students get placed through campus interviews. Companies expect you to have some minimum cgpa and expect to tackle the coding questions they give , once you are able to do that you will definitely get the internship through the college. Teachers also help the students during their internship period based on their experience.

Placement Experience

4

Mostly 98 percentage of the people get placed in our college through campus interviews , rest of the people pursue higher studies in abroad like USA , Spain , Germany , etc... they also provide better internship opportunities for students in their pre final year , talking about the average package , they vary for department to department , cse people get 18-24 lpa every year as their average lpa , on the other core people like mech , eee people get 10-12 lpa as average package, so overlall the the average package of the college remaining around 14-16 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm currently a second -year student pursuing Computer Science and engineering (CSE) at SSN college of engineering. Having spent over a year here , I've had the chance to experience both the academic and campus life , and I believe I can provide a fair perspective on the college's so far . So firstly tha Academic part , every faculty working here are PhD holders , so most of the teaches good and they can give you the real feel of subjects , they don't , they set papers that are above medium difficulty and is known for strict correction standards, which push the students to maintain high standard. They encourage your innovative ideas , SSN is place where you can so much exposure , they conduct technical events like Invente where you can show case your creative working models . One of the finest part about our college is the campus , it's damn good , our college is known for shooting tamil movies , like ENPT , Bigil , etc... SSN has around 350 acre green campus , filled with flowers , trees , and well - maintained buildings , creating a pleasant environment for students . They have separate blocks for different departments . Placement - most of the students get placed during their final year , the average package varies from department to department but on an average the package is 16 lpa. They also provide internship opportunities for students during their pre-final year . Hostel and food - the hostel and food are not too bad --still good overall, making the living experience quote decent. So if you're looking for a place that combines high academic with a great Atmosphere, SSN is definitely worth considering Hope this review was helpful. Please forgive any mistakes I may have made.

Campus Life

5

One of the finest part of our college is the campus, most often actors , directors come to our college for shooting, students take selfies, get autographs from them . SSN has 350 acres of area covered with greenaries , best infrastructure, better hostel facilities , separate blocks for different departments. They use smart boards in classes for teaching, they also have clubs like photography club , sports club , film club , etc.. to encourage the students skills .

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel is good , You can choose your hostel according to your wish , and depending upon your financial condition, they maintain the hostel very neat and clean , they have appointed wardens for each hostel to take care of the students needs , they have also appointed workes to clean the hostel corridors and toilets . Talking about the Mess , you can opt for either premium or normal , they both vary in cost and menu , both are good , you can choose accordingly to your financial condition . So there are hostels like 1) single room non AC 2) single room with AC 3) single room with attached bathroom with balcony. 4)3 sharing with common bathroom 5) 4 sharing with common bathroom 6) 4 sharing with common bathroom, with AC There are playgrounds for the students who stay at hostels , they have basketball court , football ground , tennis court , hockey court , volleyball court , indoor badminton, table tennis, they also made room for playing games like chess , and carrom , you can also take gym which cost like 6k per semester with AC , equipments which are in good condition and a gym master who is well Trained and has knowledge about fitness. The other facilities in hostel like water , electricity are good they have 24 hrs access , and also they proveid well maintained study rooms for students with AC during evening times .

Faculty

4

The paper they set are above medium level and the correction is also strict sometimes , the grades are assigned based on relative grading . They also give arrears if you have not written upto the level , do not expect to clearing the paper after re-evaluation

Placement Experience:

Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Only a limited number of companies visit the campus. The common recruiters are mostly mass hiring IT service companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, and a few local startups. Core companies rarely visit the campus. Very few students get placed directly on campus. For example, in my batch, less than 25–30% of students received offers, and most of them were in IT support roles rather than core engineering jobs. Salary Packages –Highest Package: Around 4.5 – 5 LPA, offered by a software company. Average Package: Around 2.5 – 3 L
