- the open gym can be expanded, and moved to the unused space
Course Curriculum Overview
the curriculum is really good and well made in terms of relevance as it tends to include all the needed industry skills along with a dedicated practical project so students can apply the skills simultaenously. the exams are also easy to prepare for, there arent many in terms of frequency and it allows the students to study as well as participate in other activities.
Fees and Financial Aid
the year wise fees is roughly 1,20,000 including all the charges such as lab fees, tuition fees and other charges. scholarship is given on the basis of merit as well as for those who are eligible for financial aid under the government schemes. considering all the opportunities and facilities provided, this fees is highly reasonable
Campus Life
the annual cultural fest is Aloha and it requires a lot of work put in by students. Aside from this, the media department has its own annual production that is a media convention cum festival called Vritika, and it is in the 9th edition this year. the library provides amazing resources for all students related to their course work. all books and reference material can be found in the library. there are a lot of student run social clubs and cells, and they provide with opportunities to learn extra skill as well
Admission
i chose this college because of its distance, its courses, its facilities, the faculties, the opportunities provided. other colleges did not have the same quality of infrastructure or opportunities. plus, because of its location, this college is close to most of the industry and tv channels as well. admission process is easy and requires clearing the cet exam.
Faculty
the faculty to student ratio is good, with 1 faculty per every ten students in one batch. the faculties are amazing at what they do especially because they have good industry experience and teach in relevant subjects. they help students establish a good base and are friendly and easy to approach. the exams are a combination of theory and practical and it allows students to apply everything we've learnt in exams. there are two exams per semester, mid sem and end sem exams. most of the students can easily clear their exams. the curriculum is also very flexible and adds all the trends and innovations in the industry into the syllabus. it focuses on practical learning rather than on rote learning
Night Life
college is located in a corporate area so the nightlife isnt bustling with clubs, but there are great restraurants nearby and some areas to enjoy a picnic at as well. the locality is safe to roam around as well. the campus timings are from 9 am to 5 pm but students who are practising or working can stay back well
