Gautam Buddha University is a state university, located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh with 455 acres of campus area. The university is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) and has been accredited by NAAC with B+ Grade. The University offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in the domains of Arts, Commerce, Science, Engineering, Management, Computer Applications, Biotechnology, Buddhist studies, and so on.
Admission to the University is done either based on merit or entrance exams. Applicants have to appear for the entrance exams GBU-ET conducted by the University. Gautam Buddha University Scholarship
Gautam Buddha University offers scholarship and Assistantship to the eligible and deserving candidates. Details of the same are mentioned below:
- GBU offers 50% relaxation in fees for candidates securing 80% and above marks in the 12th exam and opt for B.Tech. Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. This is not applicable for working professionals.
- GBU offers a 50% scholarship in Tuition fees to all students belonging to SC/ST categories. Scholarship for remaining tuition fees as per U. P. Government rule.
- For M.Tech., GATE-qualified students may be engaged on assistantship for the teaching load.
- Merit Scholarship are offered to rank-holder students on an Annual basis.
- The University offers "Teaching Assistantship" to research scholars who do not have UGC/CSIR or any other fellowship to support their studies while pursuing his/her doctoral degree.
- The University also offers a 50% Exemption on Tuition fees to wards of GBU's employees, subject to two children.
- GBU provides Medical/ Health Insurance coverage for students.
New Entrant Scholarship: The New Entrant Scholarship is offered to meritorious students at the time of admission, and the duration of the fellowship will be one academic year. To become eligible for the scholarship, the candidate must have 80% and above marks in aggregate of all subjects in class 12 from the institution recognised by CBSE/ ISCE/ State Board. Application for the scholarship is accepted from the meritorious candidates taking admission in engineering programme after passing 10+2, or such other qualifying examinations as prescribed by the Gautam buddha university.

- The university provides internships, and it has very good internships. First of all, it is a government university. Many companies like Wipro, Adani, L&T, etc., come every year.

- Very bad. Electives were never truly electives here, as we were forced to study what they wanted to teach us.
- Astrea Technology recently visited the campus and selected 3 students, offering a stipend of 5k.

This college has wonderful campus so I am was very much convinced that I have to take admission in a particular University which looks good has a positive environment and other colleges had a lot of bad exposure it was not very much difficult for me to take admission in the university since I didn't get du it was the only option remaining so I am pretty much satisfied with this university

Its a university under which you have different schools like school of management, engineering, law, humanities and social science etc. I got admission under school of humanities and social sciences. In this universities you either get admission based on merit or you might have to give entrance exam to secure admission.

I chose this college because my cousin is out at this college he suggested to me that the college is good for my studies for b. Tech and I decide to study in this college and i like the big campus of this college

- The infrastructure is super and campus is extraordinary with a lot of things to explore

- The faculties really don't care about teaching and only look forward to attendance and cause ruckus while giving numbers
- Majority of the crowd is from local area and do not provide a good image and cause trouble
Admission:
I personally applied in over 20 colleges but mostly private. I did make into them and could've easily taken admission there but I preferred gbu because here we are getting a state government degree approved from aicte and ugc. Moreover the fee structure here is much cheaper as compared to all other colleges i applied into. The admission process here is very simple, you can easily get into here by 2 methods- GBU-ET and direct admission (jee mains score valid) The cutoff herre for GBU-ET is around AIR600 for cse branch and for jee mains you need to have a least of 70 percentile. While the eligibility criteria here is only a minimum of 50% in 10+2 with PCM

- You have to do a lot of walking and by lot I mean a lot. In the sun, you have to do a lot of walking. No rickshaws or cycle available.
- Mess food was worst at some days and some days it is nice according to the tender.
Admission:
I chose this college because I had to do Btech in Biotechnology. I applied in DU and also got selected but they were not offering technical course. That's why I opted for that. My college is poor in terms of placement. If you are just emjoying and wanna enjoy and your placement is sorted then please take admission here. Thers is only one person in Placement cell which is disastorous.

- You can like the hostel food in the beginning but you will soon be sick of it.
- You can't go out of girls hostel after 7 in summers and 6:30 in winters unlike boys who can roam anytime and anywhere

Actually to be honest i haven't applied to any other colleges for this particular degree. I find it fascinating so i applied for it ane got selected that I also don't know because i took admission during the pandemic of Covid 19.

- The college has a reading room which is available on opened for 24/7 so it as easy for the hostlers to go and study there every time they want to
- The college campus has a complex which has everything that a student in need in day to day life
Dislikes
- The classes are very small in science which makes it hard to study well because it get a really tidy and clumsy at times
- The professors don't take classes on daily basis making that hard for the students who travelled from a long distance plus the syllabus

I applied for DU and I did got Maitri but the problem was that I was I was not assigned the course I wanted and also DU declared there result really late so I found give you a good option also the admission process of GPU isn't really hard you just have to form and online admission form then you have to take the heart copy of the admission form to the admin you don't have to give any exams and everything you just have to take that admission form and your migraine certificate and your marksheet to the admin office you have to deposit a security fee and then your semester fee and that's all dates for you to get admission in GBU

They provide affordable fees and give best facilities conpare to other colleges in this area also they provide so many extra couricullar acitives in college the eligibilty is after 12 with minimum 60 % and you can get direct admission

- The college infrastructure is quite good, we have spaced classes and open areas, labs with equipments, etc. There's also occasional movie shoots taking place here.
- We have AC class rooms and comfortable chairs to sit on, the labs have their own LAN networks
Dislikes
- There is low network availabilty within the classes as there are probably jammers installed near labs. So the Jio sim goes unreachable
- The washrooms aren't completely hygienic to say for.
Admission:
I did clear my JEE and was supposed to go to South India, but family declined for safety reasons being a girl and all. This college was recommended by a relative of mine, whose elder child completed his diploma there. The admission process is quite easy. You apply through the portal of GBU, and are added to a group. If you choose the entrance test, then you complete it, else there's direct admission too. Then we have group counselling and orientation programs.

There is a simple eligibility to get admission in GBU candidate should pass 12th with minimum 55% and GBU conduct the entrance exam for admission. Test is decent difficulty level and there are many benefits for reservations candidates

Yes, the Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida offers the Btech in artifical Intelligence. The candidate should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects Obtained at least 45% marks(40% for SC/ST) in the above subjects taken together OR as per AICTE rules
To apply for Gautam Buddha University applicants need to follow few steps which are described below:
GBU Entrance Examination consists of three subjects- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The marks alloted to each subject are given below:
One candidate is eligible to apply for one job only if the gross package is more than 5 LPA. If the package is not more than 5 LPA, then he or she can apply for a company where gross package available is more than 5 LPA.
Yes, married PG and PhD students at GBU are exempted from hostel and mess fees under certain circumstances. A valid proof of marriage is required, and in some cases, students residing within GBUB Nagar district will also be eligible for exemption.
Gautama Buddha Unversity does not have M.Pharma. course available for the students. There are other courses available at PG level such as M.Tech.
Admission to PhD course at GBU Greater Noida is done based on GBU-ET exam which will tentatively be conducted in June 15th 2024.
To be eligible for the UG curriculum students must pass the 10+2 level from a recognized board. The admission is done on the basis of both entrance and merit. Entrance exams are conducted by the university itself. For admission to any of the PG courses, students need to appear for entrance tests and must secure qualified marks to be selected. Students who have done bachelor's in respective fields from a recognized university and passed with a minimum percentage are eligible for a postgraduate curriculum from Gautam Buddha University. To be eligible for PhD courses applicants are required to complete a master's in the concerned subject with 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Selection will be made on the basis of the score obtained in the written test followed by the interview.
The total fee for 1st year at GBU Noida BA-LLB is INR 2.04 lakhs.
You need to pass GBU Entrance Test and clear it with valid scores for taking admission to B.Tech. Integrated (B.Tech.+ M.Tech.) course.
The entrance examination date (for PhD) is 30th December 2023.
The first and second year fees are INR 79 thousand and INR 58 thousand respectively. The admission to the course is based on UP B.Ed. JEE.
