DISTANCE IS A REALLY BIG TASK WE HAVE TO WALK A LOT TO GET TO DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS

I AIM TO BE A PSYCHOLOGIST IN FUTURE SO I CHOSE THIS COURSE AND I DO NOT REGRET COMING TO THIS UNIVERSITY CHOOSING PSYCHOLOGY AS MY SUBJECT AND MAKING A CAREER IN THIS COURSE SOMETIMES IT FEELS A QUITE TOUGH STUDYING THIS AS A VERY DIFFERENT SUBJECT BUT TO BE HONEST THE FACULTY TEACHING ME MADE IT WAY TOO EASIER.

Likes

Infrastructure of university was very good
Every type of thing is available in the university.
Cost of stationary products were also cheap.

Dislikes

Complex is quite away from all the departments.
Management was quite inaquarate sometimes.
does not work in some departments. Like in my department it does not work.

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like tata, reliance and drdo comes for campus placements. 70-80 percent of students get campus placements. My plans after the course is to do Msc in forensic science from university of Singapore or university of Germany.

Nature Serenity and natural environment.
Big Campus Infrastructure and pretty layout
Nice natural areas and peaceful spots for peace

Dislikes

Maintenance and management of things and buildings
Hostel Canteen being unhygienic and unnecessarily costly
Hostel maintenance never done on time and when asked for it we get useless reasons

According to the average curriculum, the stuff we learn here can be said as useless in maximum amount. The datesheet planning is very poor and they don't give enough preparation time in between the semester exams.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE OF GBU FROM A BOY's PERSPECTIVE

boys to girls ratio is very good. in our class there are almost 60% girls and 40% boys but btech course does not have girls. so you have a great way to explore yourself in front of other gender and your confidemce grows
the sports is very great here. there is a coach for almost every sport and they are great even for chess and badminton, tennis and you can also get some fees reduxtion of you perform.great in sports.
the campus is very great with different types of fests and events like there is a fwst on 23 and i am singing in that and there was a great fear before i take admission people were.really appreciating that fest.

Dislikes

infrastructure is great but managent is worst. they literally do not care. teachers are jealous of each other. i dont know why they fight with each other.
very rich people are here showing off their money and they always make scenes. i hate them when they are flaunting their parwmts money.
library is a great and vast building but filled with lovers in all corners like you can listen gupchup in all corners of library they have ruined the atmosphere of library.

Our course is a new course which is juat started by government which i think is great in curriculum. it integrated modern education system to ancient education system. the maths,physics and chemistry zoology amd botany is also great . there are labs for all.

Gautam buddha university is a good choice

Likes

I like the teaching methods of the faculty in my department (department of psychology) . They will teach to the topic in a simplest way and make you understand until you understand it properly. They also provide the materials for the class .
I like the campus is big and beautiful. It is very much aesthetically eye pleasing.
I like the hostel room that has been provided, it is big and spacious.

Dislikes

The influence of the local community like jaats and gujars
The management of the university is not good at all
There is only one feast organized in a year which is not free but we have to pay for it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course were the variety of the subjects they are teaching, and they provide bachelor in science in this degree (bsc hons in applied psychology). The frequency and timing of exams is very hectic, it always overlaps and the course is not completely completed. The curriculum is very nice. Teaching methods are good enough but they teach very slow.

Faculity members are very good of all branches.

Dislikes

Times of classes are not so well. student take the classes till evening.
Sometimes the hostel life is soo boring and feeling irritate

The faculty member is very polite towards the student. they treat the student like their own child. always ready to listen to the problem of the student at any time and any day if any student is stuck in any situation they treat them like their children and solve their problem.

GBU:- PEACEFUL AND CALM UNIVERSITY

Placement Experience:

I am not aware of placements because I am a II Year student. But for Btech students, a good opportunity for placement is provided. A separate Corporate Relations Cell has been established for this purpose only and collaboration with industries present in Noida. So overall I think placements will not be a point to worry about.

Remarks:

It was government college that's why way of doing work was different from private institution it was bit slow and sometimes irritating. Our college management was slow but not the last they helped us on our every stage.
