Campus Life

5

The overall experience is quite good because I am living near DTU which is like 15-20 min from my home so it very easy for me to come college and hangout and explore college with my friends. Also the society I join is also give me a soft skills like communication, management of a event, corporate basic knowledge etc.

Admission

Because I have no interest in tech related branch means don't like coding etc.I get Ece in ipu main campus (Usict) but didn't opt because my interest in core side like mechanical, civil related branch so I get environmental engineering in DTU which is similar to civil engineering

Faculty

4

My branch is environmental engineering. So the basic course structure is Water engineering, soil management, aur pollution and waste management, microbiology lab, chemistry, geoinformatics , structural engineering etc Faculty ratio was 1:20 The faculty of my sem was to nice but in 2nd sem is difficult for me.

Interview Experience

4

The topics in GD means debating is geopolitical, current incident based, history etc The criteria of admission based on jee mains crl rank. To prepare for this round nothing is required only confidence and knowledge is necessary.

Night Life

5

The nightlife varies according to your gender If you are a boy then the nightlife is the best times of your college life roaming in college campus at 3am, cooking noodles in hostel rooms, making a best memories. But unfortunately girls have restrictions like after 11pm no girl go out of the hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Placement Experience:

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.
