Remarks
The college has recently constructed a girls hostel inside the campus which makes it easier for the outstation students. The campus is quite neat and clean with some strict rules like no smoking which makes it even better.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite good, The exam structure comprises of 25 marks for internal assessment which includes 5 marks for attendance and 75 marks for main exam which is conducted at the end of every semester.
Placement Experience
We do have a placement cell in the college. The cell conducts an internship fair every year and all the students are allowed to participate. Apart from that they have a placement drive for all the 3rd year students.
College Events
The college is a sikh college so it celebrates all the events related to the sikh religion. Apart from that events like freshers, farewell, fests are also celebrated. These fests comprise of performances by the cultural societies followed by a concert by a famous singer/band.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite feasible as the college is affiliated with delhi university so the fees is subsidised. It is one forth of the other university’s fee structure. Apart from the fee everything else is subsidised as well so the overall cost is low.
Fees and Financial Aid
Due to the low fee structure people usually do not need the scholarship as such but our college do provide some scholarships for the sikh students and some for the academically brilliant students. The details are available on the college website.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities like basketball, cricket etc are played in the college. There are special teams for these who participate in other colleges. Apart from this the college has many societies like dramatics, dance, music etc and one can be a part of them.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students are quite helpful as sometimes they are called upon to help us deciding our further course of action and make us familiar the availability of options for us. A few of them are also working for the television industry.
Admission
The college is affiliated with du so there are several cut of lists through which one can get into the college. After passing the cut off lists all students are eligible to be a part of the college provided they have the necessary documents.
Faculty
The faculty is highly educated with most of them having a doctorate degree. The teachers are quite corporative and help you under the concepts well. Apart from that you can consult them for other challenges you might be facing like what to do after graduation.
