Course Curriculum Overview

i was going for bba first but then i got bcom h sooo i found that in this i will get more detailed overview for accounts gst so i found all this in my field or i can say my forte so i am enjoying thiss andd in internals they take 2-3 exams together in one day and submission of assignments give amply of time to complete them andd ther one on one teaching method or two way communication is pretty good

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

for the course of bcom honrs which is of duration 3 years the annual fees is 28,500 but it is increased a bit now additionally the college offers hostel facilites for female students and the annual fee for this approx 1.52lakhs it might have slightly change now

it offers a dynamic campus life with blend of academic excellence social engagement and strong infrastructure with vibrant student societies excellent infrastructure and a inclusive environment . The college ensures a well-rounded experience that nuttures both personal and professional growth

Admission

i got admission in DSPSR(IPU) but after one month i got my name in last round in DU getting SGGSCC but within one day i got another call from BR ambedkar (DU) but i found architecture and faculty of SGGSCC very goodd so i refused all the option for this elibility was getting 750 in CUET no other exam or eligibility

it is very easy to approach the faculty by even mailing them of finding them in college every teacher is very sweet for talking exception few butt overall experience is too goodd and minimal problems are faced by us

Interview Experience

yes we have soem communication classes in which we have done and also in external examm andd also on placement cell there was a round in which we were having gd i prepare them by online youtube and referred teachers too

Night Life

as a developed place the around places in pitampura is very safe the area and people living around are educated and came from well family places and also pretty good place for earing roaming and night life is very good lighting of tv tower and metro found very attractive

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

SGGSCC: A Gateway to Knowledge and Opportunities

The admission process was through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). There were no Group Discussions (GD), Personal Interviews (PI), or written tests as part of the admission process. The competition for admission was intense, with a high cut-off in the range of 690-700 out of 800 marks, which made it quite challenging to secure a seat. To prepare for this exam I didn't purchased any course because ample amount of content is available free of cost on YouTube channels. I didn't got rejection from any college because I only applied for DU and was sure enough to get in, But I can assure that this college is far better than other north campus colleges in terms of academics, discipline, and placements....Read More
