it is very impresive teachers talk and correct out mistakes by two way communication solves our problems by listeining to us properly and exams helds here like 2- subjects per day for internals and for external proper date sheet for university is launched

Fees and Financial Aid

fees for first year is 28500 and it increase by 2000-3000 every year and no installment for any fees and no other charges exception examination fees for every semester exam that is approx 1700/- andd yes some scholarship forr few students based on performance

Campus Life

campus life is overall good numerous no of tress stay us calm and here every month one or two festival takes place and other fest from the society make college life interesting and joyfull and even social groups also takes place

Admission

because many of my seniors told me to opt this as they were very impressed for the infrastructure studies environment and all the thing even with activities too soo by taking reviews i opt and filled this form

Faculty

the faculty members are very sweet execpt some of the member which are not cooperatve as they are old but still teching and occuping the position andd dont know how to behave or reply to students but many are veryy chill and coperative

Night Life

college life is too good late night activities in neal mall nightout places many cafes for friends with lot of games and may option every transportation is way more easy to get with a distance of 400m we can find metro or even within 50 m we can fiind busstop

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

DU prestige:just a show?

SGGSCC: A Gateway to Knowledge and Opportunities

The admission process was through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). There were no Group Discussions (GD), Personal Interviews (PI), or written tests as part of the admission process. The competition for admission was intense, with a high cut-off in the range of 690-700 out of 800 marks, which made it quite challenging to secure a seat. To prepare for this exam I didn't purchased any course because ample amount of content is available free of cost on YouTube channels. I didn't got rejection from any college because I only applied for DU and was sure enough to get in, But I can assure that this college is far better than other north campus colleges in terms of academics, discipline, and placements....Read More
