the college boasts a vibrant culture with active societies like 180DC and Enactus which bring overall development.
iinfrastructure of clg is better than most of the colleges IN DU
Crowd in clg is great with only two categories minority and generals.

Dislikes

canteen food is awful, the oil in chhole bhature is concerningly thick
cricket ground is given for lease students cant play there ;/

BMS is one of the best courses in DU, and the curriculum that we read is completely relevant to the real world as the questions that we solve in the classroom are based on real life with interactive approach specially in fundamentals of management wherein we discuss of case studies.

the detailed fee structure and scholarship details of sri guru gobind singh college of commerce as given below as follows, the fees for bachelor of management studies as of now happens to be 51770 rupeess. and it is not increasing fortunately. also the fee is same for reserved and unreserved students. need based scholarship is also given to needy students

Campus Life

the campus is small, but something or the other is always bustling, with most of the societies active in their work, students are occupied with work all the time, which brings new skills. library is well equipped with digitals methods of issuing books. sportify which is annual sports fest of DU was hosted this yr in our clg in november. and each club has its own flagship event round the yr

Admission

gave cuet, scored 490 out of 650, participated in counselling (CSAS), made prefrence sheet, placed it on no 17, got alloted this college, freezed it in first round because above it was ramanujan stat hons, which is L college so SGGSCC was it.

Faculty

kirti chaddha- teaches financial accounting and analysis, for some reason she is always furious, deducts marks given for assignment if the class goes out of discipline ever so slightly, doesn't allow to enter the class after the scheduled time. super approachable paramjeet kaur- teaches statisticts for business decisions. really good teacher, makes sure we understand the concept, her only concern is concept clarity and not marks, dedicated for her students, gives free attendance, super approachable.

Night Life

pacific mall, netaji subhash place are bustling centres of nightlife, with food stalls. in the clg there are parties organised by seniors which become cherry on cake. people are fun, gym is nearby and in the clg, girls hostel is in house

DTU has the nicest student crowd!

Placement Experience:

At DTU students are placed much before the course end as I am still in my last semester and I already have been placed. Likewise around 100 our of 180 students are placed in 50+ giant organisations which have been a part of our placement since 2017.

DTU BBA Program is best in Delhi!

Placement Experience:

At DTU, the industrial connect are such that placements take care of itself. From top consulting firms to new age companies like Swiggy, Lenskart too have made it to our college. So, BBA students are awarded jobs worth 5 to 7 lakhs package annually while the MBA students between 15-20 and hence I will also be pursuing MBA after BBA.

Real world exposure—DTU BBA Internship Insights

Placement Experience:

Placement for DTU BBA (USME) are moderate and are still developing. Students become eligible from the 6th semester. Companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, TCS, Startups and consulting firms visit. The average package is around 5-6LPA, with highest 10-12LPA for top profiles. Around 50-60% got placed. I planned to pursue an MBA and build my profile through certifications.

Placement Experience:

BBA students usually become eligible for campus placements in their final year, mainly during Semester V and VI. Before final placements, students also get opportunities for internships and training, which helps them understand the recruitment process and prepare better for final placements. A variety of companies from different sectors visit the campus for BBA placements, mainly from consulting, finance, marketing, and operations backgrounds. Well-known companies such as Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and other corporate firms have recruited BBA students in recent years. While the exact number of offers varies each year, a good number of eligible students receive placement opportunities through campus drives. The highest package has gone upto 17 lpa and the average package is 6-7 lpa It has around 60-80% students getting placed which is decent.

There's a placement program run for almost a month in our university. All the students are asked to attend that workshop and from skill building to communicating skills all are taught. So, once the students are in 3rd they are asked to appear for the interview and most students of our university do crack them with ease.

SGGSCC: A Gateway to Knowledge and Opportunities

The admission process was through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). There were no Group Discussions (GD), Personal Interviews (PI), or written tests as part of the admission process. The competition for admission was intense, with a high cut-off in the range of 690-700 out of 800 marks, which made it quite challenging to secure a seat. To prepare for this exam I didn't purchased any course because ample amount of content is available free of cost on YouTube channels. I didn't got rejection from any college because I only applied for DU and was sure enough to get in, But I can assure that this college is far better than other north campus colleges in terms of academics, discipline, and placements....Read More
