Course Curriculum Overview
Bachelor of Management Studies is something not that very old and is very professional course and inncludes many subjects and skills which are highly in demand, and also have subjects of HR, MARKETING , FINANCE which makes it easier for students to chose which domain they are interested in. I choose this course because i was very interested in management anf this was the best choice, even many students from science side are in my course. We have semester exams in interval of 3-4 months and all the subjects with experienced faculty prepares us well for the industry and outside competition.
Internships Opportunities
There is no specific no or names of comapnies for the internship in our college but this year only an internship cell became active which keeps providing internship opportunities in different companies and domains over time. Also there is an annual industrial visit in any of the big company to get a better understanding of thing how they work.
Placement Experience
The students in our college start looking for internships active from semester 1 but they are allowed to sit for placements after 2nd year. Mnay big companies come in our college for placements and many offers are made highest was 16 lakhs this year from BMS and average package is around 5-8 lakhs pa. Well my plans after the degree is to give cat and get admission in a good iim
Fees and Financial Aid
I'm currently pursuing Bachelor of Management Studies from my college, batch 2023-2026. The yearly fees for my course is approximately Rs 16600, which is quite affordable compared to many private colleges. There is no seperate registration or admission fee- at most, it was around 1500-2000 initially. Additionally, we have to pay fees for semester exams and that depends on our subjects usually around 1000. As per my knowledge, there is no difference on the basis of categories as the fees is already very low but there are 4-5 scholarship schemes for the students who can't afford the fees..
Campus Life
THERE ARE DIFFERENT SOCIETIES AND CLUBS FOR SEVERAL DOMAINS INCLUDING FINANCE, MARKETING, ENTREPRENUERSHIP, THERE ARE CLUBS EVEN FOR DANCE AND SINGING. ALSO THERE IS AN ANNUAL FEST E HELD IN THE MONTH OF APRIL WHERE MANY CULTURAL ACTIVITIES TAKE PLACE AND ALSO SPORTS MEET IS OCCURED IN JANUARY. THERE IS A LIBRARY TOO WITH SEVERAL VARIETY OF BOOKS. ALL THE SOCITIES ARE RUN BY STUDENTS. CLASSROOMS SIZE IS OKAY BUT THERE IN NO AC IN ANY OF CLASSROOM.
Admission
I applied for Symbiosis Pune, Christ Banglore, NMIMS Mumbai, IIM ROHTAK AND INDORE, I got admission in all except IIM, and also got in Keshav Mahavidyalaya after giving cuet, discussed which should i go for from many mentors and everyone adviced for KMV. Comparing to other colleges the fees here i very very less as all other are private colleges, but the services provided there are according to the fees and so is the crowd. Well I scored 350/450 in IIM Rohtak exam and what went wrong was the paper came way too easy due to which cutoff went 409 compared to 330 last year. I could have got any south campus college and even some of the north but I chose KMV because it was on second position for BMS. Cutoff for BMS in KMV was around 515/650 after giving cuet.
Faculty
Well faculty is the best part of our college as they all are very cooperative, experienced with a lot of industry knowledge. The course strcuture is like okay but the syllabus is so complex like for someone who is serious about studies can't miss a single class otherwise will lose that flow and it becomes difficult ot follow up. We have 3-4 main subjects and there are 2-3 subjects in which we do have choice from a pool of subjects we need to chose. We are give different assignments and presentations and even regular tests are taken based on which marking is done. All the teachers are liked by everyone and are very familiar with students and we have good healthy relationship with them but are very strict when it comes to attendance and studies.
Night Life
There is a hostel in our college which is only for girls and that too should not be of Delhi-NCR. Stydents over there are not allowed to go outside of hostel after 7 pm. There is market nearby for snack where students go in break and also NSP mall is nearby making it best option for hangout. The college and its surroundings are absolutely safe for everyone.
