DU prestige:just a show?

Curriculum is semi modern in the fact that they teach current technology but the old method of implementing said technology, all/most of the softwares used for teaching stopped receiving support before we were even born

No scholarship availed, annual fees is 46,500 similar fees for students without scholarship, with scholarships/quota given to roughly 20 of 70 batchmates, reduction of roughly 20-50% with scholarship.

Their are many fests held across du open for all du students, their are many student hang-out spots near all du colleges and this college specifically is next to a mall. The library is fairly well-kept and the range of books is also helpful, the tech facilities for computer science students are sub-par but the tech facilities for the commerce department is legendary due to bias and favoritism, this college is known for its sports facilities and it shows from a firing range to a competition level cricket field. Their are too many student led clubs to even remember and all are doing incredible work

I applied and got a seat in nmims mumbai for llb, chandigarh uni for bsc comp sci and Bennett for BCA, and symbiosis hyderabad for llb, I chose this college due to the DU prestige and name recognition along with their low fees, i got rejected from ashoka university due to application in a late admission round and sub-par marks in boards

5:60 faculty-student ratio, some members of faculty are very approachable but most are not, the computer science hod is very friendly and approachable, the entire english department is friendly, most of the commerce faculty has a holier-than-thou attitude. 6 exams per subject in 1 semezter including practicals and internals

Not much in the way of nightlife apart from the mall next to the college, other than that their are many street vendors which open up after 6 till around 11. The hangout spots within the college are only hangout spots because they are big open spaces, nothing in the way of encouraging socialising
