Since it's a Government college and from the very beginning I wanted to study BTECH in CSE, I choose this course here. Moreover, overall package is also good. The Faculty is very helpful. They support their student at each and every step. Their teaching style is also good. The examination are held timely and the exams are of medium difficulties, just like any other exams held in other college.

Generally internship depends on students and which companies they wish to apply for. Depending on that, stipend is provided. For example, this year 3-4 students of 3rd year has been eligible for internship in Microsoft and Amazon. Few of them received internship opportunities from Dualite and many more.

Generally from 3rd year, students are eligible for internship and placements. Several companies visit our campus and offer an average plackage of 9LPA. Last year, the highest package was 62LPA(OFF CAMPUS). This year, currently 60LPA(OFF CAMPUS) . Overall nearly 95? students get placed at the end of the year

For my department - Computer Science a d Engineering, for 4 yrs, we have a total fees of 60K. For hostels, we have to pay nearly 32K per year. Scholarship opportunities are available for students who satisfy the required criteria. The on campus placements are also good, the overall package varies between 9LPA - 10 LPA. At the end of every year, mostly all the students are placed.

We conduct our annual fest - "JECLET" And also our technical fest - "SRISHTI" each and every year. Library is also present and overall various kinds of books are present. Classroom are also good. We prioritize sports very much. We play sports including cricket, football, volleyball, basketball. There are clubs like dance club, music club, art club, drama club and the most famous CODERS CLUB - DIVIDE & CONQUER. There are other clubs also.

During first year and second year, we share our room among 3 students. In third year, 2 students and fourth year single room is alloted. Food quality is average as expected in hostels of government colleges. Registration for hostel is also a smooth process. Every details are present in website.

For taking admission into this college, one should appear for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (Wbjee) . Since it is a Government college , so if one scores a rank within 6K - 7K, then there is a high chance to get admission here(for Non-Core branches, the rank should be within 3K - 4K) . The admission process is pretty smooth. We should bring the required documents as will be mentioned by the college in their website before the admission process begins. Everything regarding admission is provided in the college website. As of how, I do not think that there is a need for improvement in the admission process.
