The college is overall good. I like the college which is the most important thing. And my college is one of the high ranking colleges of the delhi university

Entrance Preview

It was based on 12th result. I scored 95% and therefore i was able to get admission. I chose Economic honors based on its scope in the mere future.

Course Curriculum Overview

The scope is really good with a vast scope. I have chosen calculus as general elective.

Internships Opportunities

Yes there are societies regarding placements which will give certificates which will build up our CV

Placements offered are good. Multinational companies visit our campus. Average package depends on the course. Max students prefer higher studies after ug course

This is my first year so I haven't come across even one. But i have heard that fests are held in january and they are really famous, celebrities visiting our campus and overall its fun

It is really affordable like 23k per year and its a 3 year course

No the fees ia quite affordable so no need of loan. Regarding scholarships yes the college provided scholarships.

It is vast in terms of extra curriculars. Many societies including sports and even a gym in the college which gives us ample opportunities

Hostel Facilities

I am staying in a pg. It is 7k per month plus the electricity bill. The food is not good and thats the major problem being faced by me.

Alumni/Alumna

There has been no interaction with the alumni. One of the alumni came to college but no such interaction happened. I hope the college will provide platform regarding the above.

Exam Structure

It makes us tired as the exams are held frequently.

Faculty

The faculty is really good and helpful. They try to clear all the doubts.

USME DTU Economics Hons review

Placement Experience:

placement and internship fares are regularly conducted on campus where various companies which are mostly start-ups visit to recruit students for internships and entry level roles. Students become eligible for internships from the first year itself. placement opportunities are generally available after the completion of the full degree and only final year. Students are eligible to apply for full-time rules. last during our last internship and placement fair over 20 companies visited and recruited almost 150 candidates.There are no separate records distinguishing internship from placement.The highest package reported for economics honours is around 12 lakhs per annum and the average package is approximately five lakhs per annum.As per my future plans,I intend to pursue a masters degree after completing my undergraduate course.

DTU has a calming effect!

Placement Experience:

For USME, FMCG and Financial companies are the ones which are put in place. The only reason is that those are the companies where we can add value and placements of both courses of USME happens together and combined if I say around 75% students are placed. My plan though is to join GIPE after my graduation ends this year.

DTU USME is as good as it's engineering college.

Placement Experience:

DTU because East campus is more known for USME placements revolve around us. Now core companies of our sectors are the ones that deals with finance, insurance or stocks. So nearly 20-30 companies of that space or sector hires over 100 students of BAE every year.

Many companies come as ever since USME has been installed at the east campus the tie-ups with the brands happened before that. So we were etaught accordingly the war corporate wanted us and that is how this has been done with solid precision and thus our placements have never jolted.

There is a placement cell in Hansraj College which does provides placements of highest package around 25 lakh of last year and being median package around 7 lakhs, but this for selective courses like economics and BCom Honours and computer science Honours & few of mathematics honours while rest of the courses required to have different kind of skill sets can also go for placement depending up on the role that the companies bring to be hired for

DTU is Totally Worth Spending Time At!

Placement Experience:

Campus placements have been good from what I have noticed this year. BBA and BAE students get almost the same packages and same companies hire the students. Average package for BAE students is 5.5 Lakhs and for BBA it's a little high at 6 lakhs or so.

Our college has a very active and effective placement cell. Major companies like Goldman Sachs, Bain among many others come on campus for not just placements but also internships. Average and Median packages are between 8 and 10 lakh per annum, with highest packages going up to 25 lakhs. DU prestige:just a show?
