I have the entrance exam for BBE, in which I got an 8th rank. I chose this college as this is the best DU college for BBE.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was very interestingly designed with a combination of eco hons and bcom hons subjects micro and macro economics, statistics, management, business law, taxation etc.
Internships Opportunities
I did my internship on my in PNB, HO TREASURY DIVISION. It was not mandatory in our course but optional. No stipend was given.My experience in the internship was great where I understood how middle, back and front offices work in a bank. I developed a deep interest in investment management during my internship.
Placement Experience
Though there was a placement cell in our college, at that time there were no campus placements. It was a relatively new course in DU at that time. Now, campus placements do happen in our course.
Fee Structure And Facilities
At that time, my college fees was around rs 11,000 pa, which was higher than the regular bcom fees in DU. BUT GIVEN THAT it was a professional course, the fees was easily affordable.
Alumni/Alumna
No formal alumni network exists. We batchmates are only connected via Facebook these days. There is a need for since kind of an alum network for sure.
Exam Structure
We had an annual system of exams at that time with semi annual internal exams. The schedule was chilled out overall, not much hectic.
Faculty
Faculty was very learned and experienced. Some were contracted teachers as well with lesser experience, but overall all teachers were very qualified and thorough with their respective subjects.
