The upgraded allocation result has been announced on September 3. Students allotted seat need to complete fee payment by September 4. The last date to pay the admission fee is September 6.
Application for mid-entry will remain open from September 7 to 9.

Comprehensive review of college of vocational studies

Likes

The college provides an overall growth and development. The teachers are really helpful
The faculty of college is excellent it has many experienced teachers And the teachers are really friendly

Dislikes

The infrastructure is the aspect where college needs to work upon
Sometimes teachers have a really casual behaviour regarding taking class so they skip classes

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bachelor of management studies being one of the most reputed course in Delhi university. I heard about this course from my friends they were like its the best it's our dream course so the main influence of opting this course came from them. Bms actually helps you in boosting your career its gives a 360 degree knowledge about business, the papers are quite difficult of bms .

College of Vocational Studies: All you need to know

Likes

Crowd of CVS is much better than some better reputed colleges of DU.
Majority of the faculty is quite helpful.

Dislikes

Infrastructure needs improvement. Facilities provided are nit satisfactory
Fests and other events happen quite rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to work in the management field in the future. Also as compared to BBA, BMS is a much more practical subject and caters to industry demand. The faculty was good in the 1st year. But during 2nd year, the teachers got promoted to other colleges. So there was no BMS faculty present in the college. It was a hustle to study and perform in the exams. A few subjects did have guest teachers but they were not good enough. Also one of the core subjects did not have any teacher. We had to get help from other subject teachers ( who were quite unwilling) and YouTube. It was also tough to find appropriate books for elective subjects in the library or even online. The exams were conducted according to the academic calendar and went quite smoothly though. The exams generally had a moderate level of difficulty.

Infrastructure , red walls and ground area
Interestingly Ground area and cricket net.

Admin office working and their management.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a management enthusiast, I always wanted to pursue corporate management training. From this perspective, I choosen this course. There is about a ratio of 9:1 boys and girls. All the faculties here are of doctorate level. Semester Exams are easy and 1 to 2 hours of daily study can be enough to score well.

Societies are active, there is a lot of scope for extra curricular activities in college
The faculty is helpful in terms of academics.

Dislikes

Administration doesn’t follow through with plans
Classrooms and canteen have obsolete seating.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BBE as an alternative to not getting BMS. There are 90 students in the class and the faculty of the college handles the curriculum well. The Delhi university exams were easy and if one is prepared, one can score well.

Good college that provides specialized courses.

Likes

College location- it is located in south delhi. Select city wall is very close to our college.
Campus size - it has a very big campus. Our football field is also very big

Dislikes

Canteen - the canteen is a bit small and limited options are available to chose from.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very nice and because of nep, it is well-matched with real-world practices. Mainly our core subjects are related to economics only but this economics is more practical oriented. Also, we have subjects like financial institutions and financial literacy. The faculty is also highly qualified all the teachers are phd holders with over 10+ years of experience. Exams were a little difficult to pass since we had only 3 months instead of 6 as our admissions were late.

Library is fully stacked of imp books you beed and has wifi
Infrastructure is pretty good and there are lots of classrooms

Dislikes

The management facility could be better sometimes they takes day to answer our queries
Canteen food could be better and can have more varieties

I choose BBA because I want to get into management and economics background the course is pretty good you must have studied maths till 12th to opt for the course the faculty were qualified and the exam was moderate and sometimes easy

My opinion towards my college

Likes

The enthusiastic crowd and the location which is South delhi
The freedom of exploring anything at our own risk.

Dislikes

It's infrastructure is undeveloped and too small..
Lack of availability of proper classrooms and discipline

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course cause I want to change my stream from science to something that is interesting and related to business, and I found BMS at DU, this course teaches you about finance, marketing, consulting, and other corporate skills that you want to learn. The faculty is nice, but in college, you have to study by yourself my advice is to obey the teachers and be a good student for them of attendance and internal marks issues.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chooses this course because it has maths economics and statistics all in one with a bit of account I see a proper way to go through in a particular field. I don't like a few faculty but else there are others who are so good at teaching and understanding us, but there is still some teacher who is like a headache we feel like handling their period cramps. Not sure about qualifications but they are good at their subject if they can teach properly it would be great and few have really good teaching methods and ask us for review too totally different from others. Term exams are every 6 months and it is hard cause you don't study.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty-student ratio is 58:1. Faculties would be educated enough but the teaching pattern in our college is not appropriate as compared to the teaching in college which I left for DU like symbiosis, christ or narsee monjee. Exams are quite easy to pass.
